It will be interesting to see the reaction from Republicans now that they have come under the cross hairs of the crazies.

The right has always brushed aside the religious nutters who blow up/shoot up abortion clinics. They brush away the violent attacks from the neo-nazis & white supremacist. even one of Trump's 1st moves as the new president was to stop the FBI from focusing on extreme right wing militant/anti-govt groups..

They could always brush this off because it came from their own base and they were never the ones being targeted.. Now they have cross hairs on their heads.. Will they also brush that off?

They might be able to brush this attack off because none of their guys died, but what if it happens again and then again? Will they finally then come to the table on sensible gun laws, will they stop the hate mongering and start acting like leaders for all Americans or will they continue down their current path and just have more people acting out against them?

If Republicans allow it, they can use this as a lesson learned and realize they have done wrong to the American people and come back from their current path.. I'm betting they wont..

Will the NRA run commercials and give speeches around DC like they do every other time there is a mass shooting? I bet the gun lobby has been falling all over themselves today trying to hand out campaign cash...
