Shooter is from Illinois, which restricted communities from banning "assault" rifles after a certain deadline some years ago. The beaners on the west side of Chicago have been using AR and AK rifles for gang activity. So they may be looking for an outright assault ban in Illinois or at least a high cap mag ban.
