    Is there a name for this kind of WP theme?

    I've seen it before, but cant find one atm. Basically you have a header at the top, then underneath a list of subject titles. Click on a subject title and it 'drops down' to display a list of 'bullet points' related to the title. Then when you click the subject title below it, that one drops down to show a list of bullet points and the one that was open, closes again?

    Its more of a text based theme, than a visual / graphical orientated theme...

    Hope that makes sense - I'd love to be able to show you an example rather than describing it, but if I had an example, I wouldn't need to ask...

      A lot of themes use shortcodes that allow you to place 'accordions' to any page or post.

      Not sure if there is a theme that allows you to display latest posts as accordion though?

      Perhaps search Wordpress accordion themes?
