My guess is she was a control freak and he was having an affair and was planning to leave her. She got really pissed and paid the bodyguard to kill him. The bodyguard drugged him so he was in a weakend state then he got behind him squeezed him and it broke his ribs. He landed on his face and broke his lip open then he took him into the bathroom and strangled him while he was passed outComment

I think he was depressed and took too much of that medication that can give you suicidal thoughts. I don't know if he meant to hang himself or he was just testing it and "trying" it out, but I do think he took his own life, possibly by accident.Comment

I wouldn't be shocked if this was ultimately what happened. I don't think he was murdered. Ribs can be broken and damage done to a person's chest from CPR so I would think that was the case.
It may seem a little strange that he asked to have his computer fixed and other things shortly before his death, but that is sometimes how it works. When I was in high school there was a kid whose dad killed himself. He had dinner with the family, was laughing and joking and said he even looked forward to watching a TV show that night. They watched the show, the dad did the dinner dishes, and then he walked into the bathroom, locked the door, put a gun in his mouth and took his own life.Comment

I did a stay at Cascadia Woodland Park for a couple months in my teens and there was a chick there who held a rifle to her head to kill herself. When she pulled the trigger the rifle slipped and blew off her shoulder and part of her neck. Do you know what group therapy is like with someone like that in the group? It's spooky how people leave this world by their own hand taking all their secrets with them and others fail to make the journey and live a full life.
Chris Cornell's family & friends have stated that they knew he was suicidal. He killed himself & he's dead.
