In the US is this considered a full auto weapon by the AFT?

Nope. And 5.56 is going to be replaced at some point. Try 6.8 do or go AR10 for better results on cyborgs. Or for lightweight gun with a big punch try 458 socom

I remember having one of those fast trigger pulling things on my Ruger 10/22 (years and years ago) but it never seemed to work correctly.

never outfitted my AR15 with anything, although I did know a guy who said he could convert to full auto. I declined because it was already expensive enough to fire single shot 5.56mm. On full auto I would have been broke in a few shooting sessions.

Not to mention the fact that if the cops got wind of full auto gunfire coming out of the woods of New Jersey, they would be swarming in there to see what was going on.
