    Is Chump considering resignation ?

On 31 March 2017, a number of web sites (including Opposing Views and Proud Liberal) posted articles reporting that United States President Donald Trump was considering resigning. The web sites all cited a tweet posted by Claude Taylor, a travel photographer who says he worked as a staffer in the Clinton White House:

We reached out to Taylor on Twitter but have not received a response. Because the claim is hearsay, based on an unnamed source quoting other unnamed sources, it is impossible to verify without further information.

The rumor seems couched in the apparently darkening cloud surrounding President Trump?s former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, who resigned after 24 days in office over revelations he had misled Vice President Mike Pence about his meetings with a Russian envoy. On 30 March, the Wall Street Journal broke news that Flynn offered authorities and intelligence officials an interview in exchange for immunity against prosecution.

It is not the first time questions have floated about the 45th president?s tenure in office. On 17 March 2017, Sen. Diane Feinstein told an activists in her home state of California who asked how Trump could be removed from office: ??We have a lot of people looking at this, technical people. And I think he is going to get himself out.? She went on to say that Trump?s adult children traveling overseas for private business purposes while spending taxpayer money to do so should be illegal.

The resignation of a U.S. president has only happened once in history ? Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 amid the Watergate scandal. President Trump has made no public indication of any intent to resign.

His ego is to bigly to allow him to do it

I follow Claude Taylor and he's been right on many things but also a lot of things haven't panned out yet. I can't say much of what he's posted is ever proven wrong, but much of it depends on this all to come to a conclusion before he can be proven right or wrong.

When you are dealing in leaks like this stuff there is no way to verify it but he's been proven right a few times now, but as he's said a few times.. he gets his information from sources in the loop, but he can only report what they tell him as he can't verify it in his position.

For the record he was the first to report about Flynn's subpoenas a week before that story broke.

If he resigns, the problems do not go away. In fact, they will only intensify. They won't be able to impeach him, but they can pursue criminal action.

Sessions needs to go to prison too. He lied under oath, and now we've discovered he lied on his security clearance form. This is the Attorney General of the United States and he has now lied multiple times. He is claiming a "random FBI agent told him he didn't need to put the Russian ambassador under the section of foreign contacts"... This is just stunning that the top attorney in the country needs help filling out a form and still fucked it up.

              Assuming he doesn't resign...

If they don't impeach him (which the republicans will never do), a trial would be nothing more than a spectacular dog & pony show resulting in the president giving himself a pardon.

Impeachment is the only way to remove the ability to pardon himself.

And even if there was an impeachment, trial and guilty verdict, it may not even be legal to arrest a sitting president. That is something that would likely go to the supreme court.

You don't understand how things work in the "real world". One a president is brought up on impeachment charges he can not pardon himself, he temporally loses the ability to pardon anyone until the proceedings are over..

Also the AG of New York state is building cases against Trump and his associates who work out of New York. Trump can't pardon anyone nor him self at the state level. The only thing saving Trump's ass right now is the corrupt Republican congress.

So a former photographer for Clinton in the 1990's somehow knows what Trump is "considering"?

Jesus. You people will believe ANYTHING that's negative about Trump.

Seriously...think about the "source" of that. Wow. A person who was in the White House over 20 years ago thinks they know what Trump is thinking.

Is this person able to read minds from great distances? And why in the hell is ANYBODY giving that any serious credibility.

You people need to get a grip and get your asses to work. The economy is kicking up and there is money to be made. We have had our biggest 2 months (april and may) since 2007.

I have no idea if he is considering resigning or not. I'm sure most presidents have that moment not too long after starting the job when they realize how hard and demanding it is and second guess if they did the right thing by running for this office.

That said, some of what I have read about him says that he is miserable in this job. He didn't realize how hard it would be or how much work it would be. He also didn't realize how difficult getting anything done would be. So, at this point, it won't shock me if he does resign and sites health problems or family issues or something like and I won't be surprised if he doesn't.

As usual you do no research and just start blabbing. This guy has connections and has been on top of many of the Russian related leaks before it hit mainstream news. He has a solid track record of getting legit scoops before stuff breaks.

...but of course blab away and deny, deny deny..
