Paxum or FirstchoicePay - how about Limits?

We need to open a account on Paxum or FirstchoicePay to receive Payouts from two programs, the first looking for me untrustworthy... the 2nd a little bit less.

Has anyone experience with monthly incoming amounts above USD 10'000 with any of them?

I know from mainstream payment transfer companies that as soon above USD 5'000 - USD 10'000 monthly are processed troubles begin, some block the account other request never ending documents and so on.

Paxum should always be anyone's first choice.

I would have said Payoneer hands down as they were a much larger public company that pays out more than just adult, they pay out fiver.com and many other big companies but since they moved to this screwed up first choice crap I'd say paxum, though I would never leave a large amount of money there for long, you have no protection if they decide to take it or hold it etc.......not like a bank. But if you are using it for payments etc....small amounts left on then it's fine.

So with first choice, I don't think it's really a viable option if you're receiving payments in the thousands. You can ONLY get your money out via the pre-paid card.

If you're receiving payments in the $10,000's and the atm only allows $500 a day withdraw you're looking at both atm fees and payoneer fees for each withdraw not to mention weeks or months of trying to get the money off the account.

It's ok for smaller payments here and there though.

I have had so many issues with Payoneer and FCP, I have given up on them.

                  Satisfied with Paxum.

Hi Petra, how is it going? I just have a tiny correction about the Firstchoice Pay card daily usage limits.
The daily ATM limit is up to 5000$
The daily point of sale limit is up to 2500$
-Both of them are separate, hence they don't effect one another. So all together we are talking about 7500$.
Payments from platforms are loaded to the card within minutes by the way.
Let me know if anyone has further questions.

You CARD's daily ATM limit is $5,000. However, ATMs have limits and not everywhere in the world allows you to pull thousands at a time. ATM limits here are between 250 to 500 euro. So yea, technically I can pull $5k a day but when you add the card fees, atm fees, hourly rate while running around finding atms to use, and bank fees to deposit cash, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. Maybe if you're in the USA where ATMs have higher limits or you can pay for everything including groceries with a CC, it's not so bad.

However, in the end for the amount of money I'm talking which is a lot more than $10k, it's not worth it. The money will be tied up on the ewallet for longer than we're comfortable with along with a lot of unnecessary fees when we could just get a wire straight into our bank account for much less in trouble and fees.

Sorry, I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend this to anyone dealing in large cash transactions.

Depends on the bank/ATM probably, but 250-500 euros sounds very low, most of the ATMs here (Czech) allow me to withdraw about $3000+ at once no problem, and some ATMs allow me to withdraw up to about $8k at once here.

Since everything is done with bank transfers or the dutch debit cards, there really isn't a need for high limits. My mother usually sends me money to withdraw when she gets here and ATM limits tend to be between 250-500 if there's even enough cash (I've run into that several times).

There's probably higher limits in Amsterdam, but not in the smaller towns and villages. And trust me, we're not driving into Amsterdam every day to withdraw money.

The lack of a wire transfer option for withdrawals from FCP is definitely prohibitive, and thus, makes it a less attractive option than either Payoneer, Paxum or PayPal, all of which offer multiple withdrawal options, including wire transfers.

Paxum is ok, until you need money ASAP. Then, servers will be down. And it has very bad customer response.
