Just read an article that leaves questions. He spoke to his wife in the morning and discussed an upcoming vacation. Before the show, his words were slurry. During the concert he was off balance. Wife called for help. They broke down his door and he was on the bathroom floor, bleeding from his mouth. Dead. Wife said he took an Ativan or two. Supposedly it's known to cause suicidal thoughts. (I took it years ago and never had those thoughts). He hanged himself with an exercise stretch band and carabiner.

Carabiners hold a lot of weight. Did the stretch band break during his struggles? Why was his mouth bleeding? How much Ativan did he ingest?

He knew enough to jam the bathroom door to make entry difficult. He wasn't so medicated that he couldn't think straight.

We will never know why he took "one or two Ativan" as he told his wife.

^^ true that, so many questions unanswered. Really sad anytime this kinda shit happens with anyone, who knows his actual true state of mind, and why, whether it be a needed necessary thing (in his mind at the time) or if some doctor prescribed drug did it, or self induced other drugs. People don't just do this because stupid or completely irresponsible, sometimes a chain of events lead them to this, sometimes deserved, a lot of times bad luck too I'd assume.

RIP anyways.

Very sad. I guess I should be happy that I don't even understand the idea of depression. Dude was handsome, rich, famous, successful, respected, seemingly physically fit and had a beautiful family. Can't imagine what was going through his head to want to kill himself instead of being in a great place in life.
