    News Trump to Release his Tax Returns

    Trump: I might release my tax returns after I'm out of office - LA Times
    The timing of when President Trump might release his taxes continues to change.

    Initially, during the campaign, Trump said he would release his tax returns after an audit is complete. Now he says he could release his returns after he leaves office — perhaps 2021 or 2025.

    “Nobody cares about my tax return except for the reporters. Oh, at some point, I’ll release them. Maybe I’ll release them after I’m finished because I’m very proud of them, actually. I did a good job,” he told the Economist in an interview published Thursday.

                  He's pissed away all of his clout on petty stuff like tweet wars, firing people investigating him, giving his unqualified daughter an office in the west wing, promoting his businesses on government websites, having a photo shoot in the Oval Office where only Russians are allowed in the room, etc. Trump is morbidly obese and, it may take some time, but the bigger they are the harder they fall

                      What amazes me is they haven't been leaked by someone in the IRS.

                        The IRS is very pro-Democrat. They are the party of tax and spend. Republicans want to shrink the IRS.

                        The fact that his returns haven't leaked says those employees don't want them leaked.... which means there is nothing suspicious in them.

                          Disclosing a person's tax returns

                          26 U.S. Code § 7213 - Unauthorized disclosure of information



                          It shall be unlawful for any officer or employee of the United States or any person described in section 6103(n) (or an officer or employee of any such person), or any former officer or employee, willfully to disclose to any person, except as authorized in this title, any return or return information (as defined in section 6103(b)).

                          Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable upon conviction by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution, and if such offense is committed by any officer or employee of the United States, he shall, in addition to any other punishment, be dismissed from office or discharged from employment upon conviction for such offense.
