They cannot answer direct questions about the investigation.

The way the senators asked certain questions regarding collusion, that were answered a certain way, showed there was evidence of collusion, twice.

Yates also explained that because of her answer that it was not to be construed to be a yes. She did that on more than one occasion. She of course could answer the question in a closed hearing as could Clapper when he answered in the same fashion.

Thus far there is zero evidence that, the public knows of, that there was collusion or anyone in a position to know has stated that there was collusion. The investigation is still ongoing and may remain so for years and such investigations often conclude without any specific resolution of a "Yea or Nay".

BTW, I do not need to read an article, I rely upon on my own lying eyes and ears, as I watched the hearing from the beginning to the end.
