Germany is violating the budget deficit limits and France is getting close to doing the same.

The EU issued a warning to both countries. What happened?

France called the warning "symbolic" and seems they will just go on their merry way.

Germany agreed to get its finances in order but now has to make moves that will hurt it's own economy for the "greater good" of the EU.

What good is the EU if nations flaunt the rules as they see fit and countries with sinking economies can't even make their own financial decisions?

Why do you think France & Germany were kicking and screaming so much when we went in to set Iraq straight?

Before we took Iraq over, ALL of it's oil dealins were being done in Euro's which was going to effectively save Germany & Frances collective asses.... or at least buy them some more time.

But now... its going to go back to good old american dollars no doubt

Infact I take my comment back, thinking about it... Holland, Belguim, Span and Italy... are all good countries, the people are really nice.... I was we should nuke france and germany, anyone game?
