				What's your favorite book?
Inspired by the movies thread. I rarely read fiction, but I felt like a had to read Dark Matter by Blake Crouch this year. I wasn't disappointed, it's so damn good! It's about a physicist who managed to put a macroscopic object(yes, himself ) into superposition. Quantum mechanical insanity ensues... Sony purchased the movie rights for $1.25m based on 150 first pages 2 years before the book was published. That says a lot

				 | You can actually read this one online. The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect About the creation of a supercomputer which gets so smart it's able to bend physical reality until it becomes a god, erases death and places every human in their own physical dream world for infinity. You can have whatever you want, all you have to do is think about it and Prime Intellect will give it to you. Then things get really interesting from there. It's a short read, but it goes places you wouldn't expect by the end of the story, and be prepared for some vivid descriptions of the gruesome things humans are capable of when they can do whatever they please.

				 | The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany by William L. Shirer. No kidding. It's a long book, but it's an amazing story not only of Hitler's rise to power, but also the entire Nazi party. It's just amazing.
