Autoclose window without javaskript alert popping up?

Is that possible? We tried the self . close () command, as well as a timed close, but you always seem to get the alert window, which sucks.

Not unless the new window has a Parent window that created the new window.

I have a window (page1) that can popup 1 exit URL (page2), but I want that window to be a fixed sized window, I cannot set properties from page1, so I have to load page2, set props for page 3, load page 3 and close page 2 again.

Either that, or have page 2 loose the status, scroll and address bar. ResizeTo can make the size right, but the other props are hard to change so far.

Why can't you?

I have been up all night, so I may not understand exactly what you are trying to do.

Why can't Page1 set props for page 2?
