Visual Studio => annoying error messages in IE

I installed Visual Studio on my windows pc and now I get lots of annoying error messages on webpages, asking me to start the debugger and shit. Anyone got an idea about how to stop that shit?

No, I didn't actually. Also, I'm only using windows because I'm coding for windows, so making the switch isn't really an option

What Language are your programming in? Visual studio comes with a bunch of stuff. I belive if you install the c++ part of it, you will be getting those IE errors.

Yeah but what language are you actually coding in? Visual basic or C++, if its visual basic then reinstall visual studio, and uncheck the C++ box, so that c++ doesn't install. Then you won't get those annoying error messages..

Oh, no, uninstalling shit from it is not an option - especially not c++, since that's the main one I'm coding in. But apart from that, there has to be an option somewhere to disable those error messages.

Every time I use windows I'm reminded of how much I love Linux and OpenBSD...

There's some JIT debugging settings hidden somewhere in Visual Studio.. Turn them off for IE - the challenge is finding them. It's been a couple years since I used VS, so I can't help you much more than that.

Just disable script debugging in IE, for some reason it turns it on when you install VS

Hmmm... I had already done that, but now I see that it somehow turned itself on again...

Well, I don't mind them having bad scripting... I just don't want to know about it.

If I recall correctly it's some sort of registry entry you can edit to get it to turn off. It's been a while since I installed and had to do the same thing. Do a search in Google for the actual words from the error message and see what comes up.

Actually, I think Backov is correct...all you have to do is turn off script debugging in IE.
