![]() One of our domains (which was still @ Network Solutions)
was hijacked last week. Im still listed as the administrative contact and it's still located at network solutions but it's now in an account that belongs to NameZero... Contacting Network Solutions results in a "you need permission from Namezero to gain access" and contacting namezero results into nothing: We emailed, called, faxed: no response whatsoever. To deal with this through NS directly we need to go through a shitload of paperwork and it may take 'up to two weeks' before they are able to resolve this issue for us. Truly fucking amazing..since NS ACK's the 'account swap' is in error and we are the official owner. Fuck.. im still listed as the administrative contact! A transfer request to another registrar is auto-declined. Does anyone have an idea, Namezero phonenumber, NS hack etc to resolve this issue? The domain is about to expire as well so i see shit hitting the fan.. ![]() |

I don't think Namezero has been able to be used by anyone for quite some time now. In either case, their new owner is Dotster if I remember correctly.

I would lay on Netsol hard. Don't talk to their minions, talk to supervisors etc. I have never had good luck with them, and transferred dozens of domains away from them. For good.
Also, if that domain is about to expire, at least pay to renew it so it doesn't, and the hijacker doesn't renew it. This may at least buy you more time to straighten it out. Good luck, that sucks big time. And all the time you have to spend to straighten it out......
