It's amazing isn't it? It's almost as good as the $6k pallet house for the homeless..

Somewhere in the mix these people lost sight of reality, but of course they aren't trying to find solutions for homeless people but rather sell shit to the city as the solution... I mean imagine how many tents they could buy with $20k...

The city of Los Angeles is a scam! they raised billions recently to help the homeless. They have enough money to house every single homeless person on the street! Unfortunately the homeless will never benefit from this money. The Los Angeles government used the homeless as a pawn to raise money for their own person benefit!

This idea is a good idea for homeless housing but the city of Los Angeles will probably fine homeless people for living in these bathrooms. There was a guy recently who did something similar and the city removed the structures and put the homeless back on the streets. The only thing that will help these people is move out of this liberal state and move someone where rent is affordable like Nevada, Arizona or Texas

This tiny house nonsense is a symptom of illegal immigration and adult anchor babies putting an unnatural strain on the housing market.

                Meanwhile in China...

The country where 70% of millennials are homeowners

If you're aged 19-36 and don't own your home, you're probably not reading this in China.
While young people around the world are struggling to get on the property ladder, an HSBC study found that 70% of Chinese millennials have achieved the milestone.

No it's not.. A lot of people just do not want large houses because it's a waste. Most people don't even use 50% of the space under their roof and paying taxes on all that extra square footage as well as to heat and cool it. It's just a waste of money..

Look at older houses when people were "sensible" They are almost always half the size of today's houses. Houses are large today because everyone has penis envy and has to keep up with the Jones. Cities push this by making required square footage per lot size. Why do they do that? They do it because they collect 2 times as much taxes on a 2k Sf house as they do a 1k sf house.. Home builders like it as well because it doesn't cost them much more labor to build the bigger house vs the smaller.. Meaning more profit.

It's all absurd and just about money.. People used to buy & build what they needed, now it's all about trying to show off and pretend you are something you aren't while struggling to pay for the biggest house you could get a loan for..

It's why the 1st housing crash happened and it's why the next one will as well. Personally I'm glad many millennials have come to their senses and stopped being consumers just to be a consumer..

That stone is Fond-du-lac a stone native to that area -- $25+ a square foot on the walls.

Having been a stone mason/contractor -- that is exceptional work $130K is the asking price BTW.

Homes in Rosedale Park or Sherwood Forest were built in that era in the City of Detroit. Mixed exterior all brick and some stone or stucco -- Tudors but 2000-3000 sq ft.

I owned a house from that era in Whitley Heights in LA 30 years ago. Location, location, location. $5K for sidewalk space and a cardbox in LA -- whatever...
