why mrs bill clinton lost to trump

She largely cited these factors for her defeat:

    - Russia. "A foreign power meddled with our election," she said, labeling it "an act of aggression." She called for an independent, bipartisan investigation into the Kremlin's involvement and said the probe should examine whether there was collusion with the Trump campaign.
    - Misogyny. "Certainly, misogyny played a role. That has to be admitted," she said. Clinton added that "some people ? women included ? had real problems" with the idea of a woman president.
    - Comey. Clinton cited as damaging to her campaign his unusual decision to release of a letter on October 28, less than two weeks before Election Day, that said he was looking at additional emails related to the FBI probe of the former secretary of state's use of a private server.
    - WikiLeaks. Weeks of disclosures of stolen emails from the personal account of then-Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, were particularly harmful, Clinton said, adding that it "played a much bigger role than I think many people yet understand."
She said the combination of Comey's actions and the WikiLeaks' revelations "had the determinative effect."

Hillary Clinton Explains Why She Really Lost to Trump

    why she really lost:

The Target boycott blindsided the CEO - Business Insider

The boycott cost the company millions in lost sales and added expenses. Shopper traffic and same-store sales started sliding for the first time in years after the blog post, and the company was forced to spend $20 million installing single-occupancy bathrooms in all its stores to give critics of the policy more privacy

Sales fell nearly 6% in the three quarters after the post compared with the same period last year, and same-store sales have dropped every quarter since the post.

She lost because Americans are pissed off with the establishment and she represents the establishment. Hopefully, Americans will stop voting for people like her.

Or is that too much to wish for?

I don't know why people overthink this. She lost for a few very simple reasons. She screwed Bernie over during the primaries and the millennials never forgave her. It looked like some of them might swallow down the bile and vote for her then Comey announced he was investigating her again and that sealed her fate with young voters who saw her as corrupt and not in touch with their needs. They either voted third party out of spite or just didn't vote.

She also failed to connect with working class, blue collar type voters. Those have been the bread and butter of the Democratic party for years. While she was talking about Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ rights, and transgender bathrooms, Trump was telling those blue collar voters he will bring good paying jobs back so they can support themselves.

It was a close election, a few young voters staying home or voting third party and a few blue collar voters voting for Trump and she lost in a few states she thought she was going to win.

Hilary lost because first the dnc screwed Bernie and turned off many voters. They had this we know better than you attitude.
Secondly the lady is a hard worker but an awful politician. People want to someone they feel a connection to and that's not her. She comes across as stiff and phoney.
Its a shame because Bernie could of beat Trump. The Trump Admin is just a huge money grab.
I think his voters are desperate not stupid. The world has changed and its not going back to the way it was. Coal is not coming back and its not because of gov regulations , it's because natural gas is better, cleaner and cheaper.
Factory jobs as you knew it are gone too and its because of automation more than china. You need a quarter of the people you once did to run a factory.
Also with computers you just need less people to run a company. Kodak at its height in today in now dollars was worth over a billion dollars and had over 10,000 employees. Instagram was worth a billion and had like 12 people.

The problem will be when all those desperate people who voted for Trump see nothing changes, they will be pissed. Paul said she lost because she was the establishment. I have news for him, I dont see trump bringing in any radical thinkers. Its alot of old money, which is the establishment. Meet the new boss same as the old boss.

this is the whole problem..people didn't vote for trump because they thought he'd be a good president. they voted for him to troll "libtards". trump is a troll presidency basically. his votes were meant to piss off a segment of the population. people largely didn't take it seriously when over 11 thousand voted for Hambre the gorilla.

                      OMG stop.

he said "make america great again" she said "everything is already great!" in a change election. he worked very hard, she sat on the couch, relying on the media & celebs to win her votes. She didnt do the footwork in the states that cost her the race. she was lazy & entitled. she blew it.

                      thats all.

She's right about all of those things, but she left out number 5.

She needs to admit there was some level of complacency on her part as "the next in line to be president". That led to some under-campaigning and outreach in some really key areas. It's like one of those showboating wide receivers who fucks up a touchdown by starting his celebration dance before he reaches the end zone and gets slammed at the 5 yard line. She should have beat that human pile of garbage easily.

the thing about comey is this, he was at the airport going somewhere and he saw his 'boss' in deep conversation with mr Clinton. so he had to play CYA which is the real game in Washington

not to piss off, to get away from.... MOST Americans just want work and the family values system that Hillary was dead set against... Hilary is proof that you can't call Americas racist homophobic degenerates and have then vote for you. read some of her martial from the election.

"She will also work to reduce income inequality" Obama got a great start on this with Obama care... personally my heath ins went from $325 to $1000 with half the deductible and being turned down by over 1/2 the drs and hospitals.

yup she had the media whispering in her ear, the media has been out of touch with reality for many many years... and my personal opinion is MOST Americans don't want to give up their hard earned money for same sex bathrooms etc... she never addressed any of the REAL issues the people face.... think of it this way.... if you're starving and losing your home do you really have time to worry or even care about some asshole in NY that 'sucks cocks and is so proud of it'?

this was Hillary main impetus for her campaign... 'you are not responsible for your behavior, and it's whiteys fault', that didn't play to well across the economically stressed areas of the country....

You still think that losing by 3 million votes is winning

So what's your limit? Say Trump runs in 2020 and loses popular vote by 20 million but wins the electoral college with 270 EC votes, you're ok with that?

I think that too. But I don't think it cost her the election.
She still easily won the super liberal places full of Bernie supporters (New York and California)

But what killed her was the Democrat Party losing it's grip on WORKING people. The blue collar vote in the Rust Belt was the determining factor.

She (and the DNC) completely ignored them and spent too much time pandering to people on welfare, illegal immigrants, and special interest groups.

All she would have had to do was make a few campaign appearances in the rust belt and give them a glimmer of hope...and she would have won the election easily.

Instead, she kinda disappeared for a couple of months doing big private fundraisers in Hollywood for the Democrat Party.
                                                Big tactical error for her.

And I don't blame her...I blame her team. Those high-priced political consultants and their "business as usual" outdated ideas lost her the election.
