This is a product of what happens when one company comes in and buys everything pushing out all the competition.. They have no reason to even try to have good sites because there is no competition left..They can just run it as a cookie cutter and squeeze every last dime out of it while doing nothing to keep it going.

Used to trade with Madthumbs back in the day but didn't the same guy own other sites like 88x88 or what ever that one was that also used to be decent sized..

things like what? ND people bought it (as well as a few other big TGPs) years ago and turned it into a tube. you can blame them, but they could do whaterver they want with it. it still gets nice SE traffic, btw.

Funny I was just logged into Mad Thumbs the other day to check on our uploads. Guess what? PURE SHIT VIEWS! We're talking like 200 views per video.

So it's not really worth it to upload there anymore (sadly).

OK let's expose and define this dirty little secret about tubes like Mad Thumbs (and I could include about twenty others):

Since the rise of circle jerk ad networks (you know who they are) the owners of these smaller tubes realized it's easier and more profitable to just trade/sell whatever traffic they have than it is to staff a site, pay for employees, etc.

So that's it. They are on auto-pilot because they are more profitable that way. Since the "big tubes" have the SEO locked up there is no way for a Mad Thumbs (or many others) to grow and compete. The owners realized this, put their shit on auto, and went fishin'.

I don't think there is too many webmasters that were successful at running TGP (and TGP2) sites AND that were also successful at running a large tube site.

The only guy that comes to mind is youjizz.com.

Maybe it?s time for the small circuit to reinvent itself. Get all of the poeple together who want to put in the elbow grease instead of everything auto pilot and compete on a larger scale. There should still be some good quality ?smaller time? content producers and affiliates with broad skillsets to make free sites and properly seo them.

My experience tells me that competing for the word schoolgirl or teen is a tough battle, but competing for a name like tiffany teen or next door nikki is easy as hell.

Even with the big companies owning all of this stuff, there is still gold in the pot and room for our little hands to get into it as well. Hopefully I have motivated someone.
