What's happening with cologroup?

I currently have a server rented at cologroup...now pimpshot whatever that was. Now I got an exemployee from colo telling me I should go host with another company as soon as possible, and this cologroup might never coming back.

Jason, is this true at all? Btw I never even received an email concerning the DNS change. If anyone else really know what's going on, please give me a head up so I can start planning moving my stuff elsewhere. Thanks.

heh, ya get what you pay for. can't say i've heard a good thing about those guys other than price.

2 things i learned from GFY is that i should never host with likewhoa or cologroup. I've seen too much drama about them.

.... I can't believe i just said i learned something from here ....

I got caught up in that one. I think they got locked out of their servers and I never even got a membership list. Had to start over from scratch. That HURT!

re: galaxynet

i left them less than 4 weeks before it all came apart. i'd been tired of their bullshit for along while, and was just lucky to have moved in time.

If i remember right he said he was going to get all that money then got denied from the investors. I could be off on that though. If they pissed away 5mil while running cogent bandwidth that would be a hoot. heh.

I think you could probably buy Cogent - the company - for 5 million. HAHAHAHA.

Cologroup is a disaster! And Myles is a nut case!

They are the worst host I have ever used

The one who told me this is not myles. He's a very good guys when he was still working with colo. His info is reliable, but I want to believe its not.

I thought there are more people hosted with cologroup here? This place is the reason why I hosted with them in first place as it got so many thumbs up back a years ago. What is really gonna happen to them?

At this point, anyone who still hosts with cologroup, or their new name pimpshost is on your own. There has been more than enough warning, and controversy with them and now it's your choice. How many warnings does it take ??? do you really need to get smacked in the head with a hammer to realize there is some very wierd shit going on with this company???....
Things that make you go hummmmmmmm???
