Some kinds of raw beans contain a harmful tasteless toxin, lectin phytohaemagglutinin, that must be removed by cooking. Red and kidney beans are particularly toxic, but other types also pose risks of food poisoning. A recommended method is to boil the beans for at least ten minutes; undercooked beans may be more toxic than raw beans.[12]

Cooking beans, without bringing them to the boil, in a slow cooker at a temperature well below boiling may not destroy toxins.[12] A case of poisoning by butter beans used to make falafel was reported; the beans were used instead of traditional broad beans or chickpeas, soaked and ground without boiling, made into patties, and shallow fried.[13]

Bean poisoning is not well known in the medical community, and many cases may be misdiagnosed or never reported; figures appear not to be available. In the case of the UK National Poisons Information Service, available only to health professionals, the dangers of beans other than red beans were not flagged as of 2008.[13]

Fermentation is used in some parts of Africa to improve the nutritional value of beans by removing toxins. Inexpensive fermentation improves the nutritional impact of flour from dry beans and improves digestibility, according to research co-authored by Emire Shimelis, from the Food Engineering Program at Addis Ababa University. Many edible beans, including broad beans and soybeans, contain oligosaccharides (particularly raffinose and stachyose), a type of sugar molecule also found in cabbage. An anti-oligosaccharide enzyme is necessary to properly digest these sugar molecules. As a normal human digestive tract does not contain any anti-oligosaccharide enzymes, consumed oligosaccharides are typically digested by bacteria in the large intestine. This digestion process produces flatulence-causing gases as a byproduct.[22][23] Since sugar dissolves in water, another method of reducing flatulence associated with eating beans is to drain the water in which the beans have been cooked.

Some species of mold produce alpha-galactosidase, an anti-oligosaccharide enzyme, which humans can take to facilitate digestion of oligosaccharides in the small intestine. This enzyme, currently sold in the United States under the brand-names Beano and Gas-X Prevention, can be added to food or consumed separately. In many cuisines beans are cooked along with natural carminatives such as anise seeds, coriander seeds and cumin[citation needed].

One effective strategy is to soak beans in alkaline (baking soda) water overnight before rinsing thoroughly.[24] Sometimes vinegar is added, but only after the beans are cooked as vinegar interferes with the beans' softening.

Fermented beans will usually not produce most of the intestinal problems that unfermented beans will, since yeast can consume the offending sugars.

Anyone being sneaky and trying to shut down their competitors are pieces of shit. PikaPoka was doing that (not sure he still does, i hope he quit that shit), Oldgaga if you're doing that too, then you have dropped your standard of ethics too. Also after the penalization (in fact theporndude.com had a drop in traffic from 4 Million to 300k visits), theporndude is keep creating every day new reciprocal link deals with other webmasters, who don't know about his problems with Google. This means that every day theporndude is putting the whole work of new people under the risk of a penalization.

How, What he does?
He simply asks to the other webmasters to give him a dofollow link, but he doesn't say them nothing about his penalization and about the fact he will hide their backlink to Google!

Tricks to other Webmasters:

a) he creates a reciprocal linking deal with a webmaster. But after he doesn't add the link normally, he creates an internal redirect under the path "/go", this way he hides the new link to the webmaster to Google, to do not have too much reciprocal links.

c) he uses his seo experience to trick less experienced webmasters. E.G: he knows what nofollow links are, but he says to people that his competitors could be penalized by Google for these links.

Tricks to Google:

a) Cloaking: he rendenders to Google a version of his site, and a different one to his users. How? Hiding the links. When he applies the "Cloaking Affiliate Links" to websites which are not affiliates he is doing Cloaking, in few words he is showing to Google an optimized version of his website hiding the links to website in other languages, website that he thinks could host malware etc.. He uses the "cloaking affiliate links" technique in a curious way.

b) Too much artificial links: his whole strategy is based in gaining new artificial paid backlinks from other webmasters. If you check is backlink profile you will see that most of the documents (pages, not domains) linking to him are using the anchor text "best porn sites". This can't be considered a natural link profile by Google.
