The civil war there is winding down as the Obama/Clinton backed rebels control only one area. Assad will have to eliminate Isis and will probably require outside help from Russia and the US.

"It's been said" that such connections between a political campaign and a foreign country would be common. Did Micheal Flynn call the ambassador from China during the campaign? During the transition period? What about our closest ally, the United Kingdom? France? Germany? Canada? Mexico? No. ALL of the connections were with Russia.
Did Erik Prince hold secret meetings on tropical islands with anyone from China? Why not?
All the Trump Administration did was done in secret, and all with Russia. All they had to do was pick up the phone and call the State Department and say "I want to meet with the Russian ambassador". Perfectly legal, perfectly acceptable, and easy to understand. They intentionally avoided the State Department, and continue to do so:

I don't get any of this. If I was a billionaire, I would retire. Even more so if I was seventy years old. Why bother with any of this? Trump has clearly shown he is more interested in playing golf than running the country. This is a very serious job, and it's obvious Trump is not taking this seriously. The healthcare bill was a great example of this - Trump didn't know or car what was in it, he just wanted it passed.
The longer he is president the more obvious this will become. Trump and his administration are going to be running foreign policy on their own, without the State Department. I've thought about this too. If I was super-rich, the last thing I would want to do is work and give myself more stress.
Instead, I'd buy myself some toys, a nice house or 2 maybe, but I'd invest the rest in some high-flying ideas like Space-X and Virgin Galactic, give a hundred million to the city of Flynt to fix the water problem, invest in companies that are developing technologies to clean up the oceans, etc etc.
And even if I lost most of it, so what? If I'm a 70 year old billionaire I'm still making money from interest. The losses wouldn't stress me out at all (At least I tried!), and if there were any wins, I'd be happy.Comment

What fake issue? Our top three intelligence agencies have told us that without a doubt the Russians helped Trump. This is not a "fake issue" - it's real. For example, we know the exactly who hacked the DNC (and the RNC for that matter), and also the cutouts the Russians used to pass the information to Wikileaks.
