I'm not sure how many heard about this recent bullshit that's going on, Trump is going to allow ISP's to sell customer data to 3rd parties and fuck over the privacy protections of internet users.

In the article they are suggesting https but at the same time that's only to appease paranoid users, it won't actually protect their privacy but more just makes them feel safe.

I think this all sucks a ton of ass, what do you all think?

I think there may be a bright future for VPN services and more people will be using tor. Problem is these are security red flags for payment processing servers and risk management systems.

Old news, but still worrying. The internet is already fraught with security issues without letting someone have legal access to you browsing history. I don't think its paranoid to worry about shit like this.
