My girlfriend really wants to go to some party saturday, and I just looked up what it is about. Here's the promo line:

On this date, it's 60 years ago since Albert Hofmann had the first Western acid psychedelic experience! Although he synthesised the compound for the frst time in 1938, it's 5 years later in 1943 that he synthesised it again and absorbed some micrograms by mistake and had the most wonderful and most influential bike ride ever! So, everyone, get onto your psychedelic bikes and let's make a killer party...

According to the site images on the flyer and the release are macro-views of THC glands.

Considering we both don't do any kind of drugs, I have the feeling this might just get a bit boring

I found a video on Kazaa. It's from the 50s or so and it's a British military experiment. They gave a small platoon some acid and filmed the resulting festivities. The soldiers were flipping out and climbing trees and shit. Great stuff
