this made me laugh.
his father was just another brutal dictator. 'Since Bashar Assad took over power from his late father Hafez, some had supposed that the Western-educated Bashar would take a more enlightened policy towards Israel. Hafez Assad was a brutal dictator who ruled by terrorizing Syria's citizens. Though Bashar has made some token overtures to his citizens to loosen the reigns of oppression, his stance towards Israel is no less harsh than his father. In fact, at a recent Arab summit held in Amman, Assad characterized the Israeli people as "worse than the Nazis." The Syrians have consistently been among the most extreme nations in expressing hatred for Israel, and Bashar Assad's ascension to power has done nothing to moderate that.' from r3k's link: http://www.worthyinsights.com/featur...ith-syria.html |
dont get me wrong, I love what America as a whole stand for but this administration is just begging and pleading for more and more enemies as time passes by. Our economy for working class americans is at an all time low since the great depression, gas prices are at a high, and our usual methods of diplomacy aren't being seen as effective by our friends. We ruled with an iron hand by being a helpful and prosperous nation...now nations see us as a threat and just may be gathering WMD behind our backs to punish us for what Bush is doing. I don't agree at all with the administration and I pray and hope there won't be 4 more years of homeland terrorism

For all the people that bitch about GW, how many of you bothered to vote? That last election was so close it isn't funny (and there are tons of stories/theories as to how GW's baby brother fixed the FLA election and gave him the presidency) - let's see what happens next time. Will Americans actually get up off their ass, register, and vote? Or will you allow people who do not see things the way you do choose who will run your country? |

Carter's inflation - 18% a year (today's 2.9%) Carter's unemployment - 11% I know you weren't born than, so your life span is the only memory and knowledge you have, but still, I can't beleive there is no high school in 50 miles radius from where you live. Gas prices in USA today are 1/2 from the gas prices in Europe. as for your prayers, I have an exercize for you, take a piece of paper and drop it on the floor. see it land on the floor. now PRAY that the piece of paper go UP when you drop it on the floor. When it happens, the rest of your prayers will be answered as well. |

Sorry man but that comment was dumb too...hahaha. I am glad you love what america stands for as we all should since we cherish our freedoms daily. If you honestly think that the "depression" right now is because of the administration you are sadly mistaken. If you think that none of this was starting during the reign of a democratic leadership you are wrong. This "depression" is simply a cycle that our economy must go through in order to build itself back up again. Without set backs we would never see failure and would thus never learn from mistakes. I hate to say it but this government is not perfect, but it is the best one out of any of any other country on this planet. The current economic status is not the fault of the republican party nor Bush as a president. It is simply the result of a downturn in the economic movement of this country. The president alone cannot change the economic status of this country. As a matter of fact the man primarily responsible for the great economic times we saw a few years ago is still holding his position. His name is Greenspan. Look back through history you will see nothing is different, it all happens, but everyone is so quick to point a finger at someone else instead of at theirselves anymore. Andy |

theres no democrat that can beat bush without a third party candidate taking a lot of conservative vote.
A repeat of 92 would be the only possiblity when Clinton won with only 43% of the vote and Perot taking a lot of conservative vote. |
