I just loaded incognito chrome, went through my link on chaturbate, opened new tab in same browser, went to m.chaturbate.com and then looked at the data.
What I'm seeing is spending and signups are increased, hits are the same. Maybe the hits count, but the cookie (used to not) stay?Comment

If you were seeing a redirect in your own testing, this could only happen in situations where your affiliate cookie wouldn't count, such as when you are already logged in with your username before following the affiliate link. To put any concerns to rest, we are now passing the affiliate cookie globally, and mobile traffic will be redirected to the mobile site when appropriate. We welcome all feedback as we improve the Chaturbate experience and appreciate the input that the GFY community provides in particular.

As I have discussed this with some of you privately, I am not an affiliate of any program including Chaturbate. In their own words Chaturbate has been monitoring the chatter for quite some time. It appears to have taken them 8 plus months to directly post in the threads that raised the issue of not being properly credited, and it has taken them 8 plus months to change their internal tracking policy.
The initial questions I ask here:
- How long has this failure to properly track the affiliate's mobile traffic been going on?
8 plus months, a year, more?
- During this period of time, how much money has been diverted away from the affiliates?
A few dollars, tens of thousands, hundeds of thousands, millions, tens of millions?
Unfortunately most (if not all) platforms cheat in one form or another. Just because "everyone" does it, does not mean that affiliates should tolerate such behaviour which
is costing the affiliate money.
So ... what shall all of you now do, that Shirley V.P. of Chaturbate 8 plus months later has come forward and stated that they will make the necessary changes to the code?"The time men spend in trying to impress others they could spend in doing the things by which others would be impressed."Comment

reason why a new program should still be created, and 'openly' run by webmasters here. More stats, more viewing permissions of our customers , more transparency , and better support in general.
Webmasters in the adult genre are probably the most gullable of the bunch, and affiliate programs love fuckin us over. It's all backroom "tee-hee" laughter to them.Comment
