    Anyone else numb to porn now?

    I get the same effect looking at belle delphine as I do looking at a little caesars pizza.

    Zero interest.

    Wish I had been warned that 20+ yrs of being in this biz has side effects. Not sure there is even a cure for that.

              First of all let me just say that yes, I totally relate. It's tough to find material that "does it for me" anymore; but....

              Don't take this the wrong way, but have you considered that this isn't a side-effect of being "in the biz" so much as a side effect of being a human that is aging?

              That's been my debate; is this because I'm getting older or because porn is just not exciting to me at the same level due to desensitization?

              As far as the cure, I'm gonna give you a tip that will change your life (maybe lol). Try 1 capsule once daily of "Enerex" brand "Satisfaction" nutritional supplement. I've just started on this myself and within 48 hours, my interest in porn (and everything sex related) had pretty much fully returned lol.

                              I wonder this as well. When I was starting I'd have to crank one off when I was beginning work for the day, just to "not be distracted"... I was also 21 and single rather than 39 and married.

                              I think extreme exposure to a lot of casual sex, porn, strip clubs, and content production has definitely affected my libido and sex drive, but getting older and cynical probably hasn't helped either. It's hard to point at any of them as which is the most contributing factor. It doesn't help that there is a lot of really cheesy, really bad, or just repetitive porn out there.

                              I did have my testosterone checked last year and it was normal.

                                  Smoking weed or drinking can lower one's intensity levels too (not saying this about you but in general). But over exposure does have an aeffect for sure.

                                  Eat too much pizza and, after awhile, you don't want that much pizza (to continue the theme).

                                              I've been in this industry off and on since way back in the days of 'GeoCities'. I can fully relate too what you're saying. I's even worse when you're in a long term relationship and she begins to think you have no interest in her anymore.

                                              I've taken many breaks from this industry including 6 straight months on road with the travel trailer. For me, I lost my umph.. I just don't have that killer drive in me the way it used to be.

                                                                                                  I've been in the industry for over 28 years - and yes some time ago the interest left. Very few if any models stand out now to peek my interest even to look. What I do see are the demographics that users are somewhat feeling the same way and starting to search for more borderline illegal content or at best incest in some form or another.

                                                                                                  We knew what was going to happen when so much free stuff was being handed out that eventually it all looks the same and shot the same. Few models are believable and memorable scenes are few. I had been away from the biz for a while when the belle delphine craze hit and I was extremely disappointed that even she didn't do anything for me. My wife and I both seem to have lost "it". We had many years of wild and crazy fun, just sad that it seems more like a chore now. Like some of you mentioned it's probably due to the natural aging process, but I know porn definitely has desensitized us. Hopefully some of the younger folks can learn from this discussion.
