Well, I know at the hotel that I work for, for a small charge they can clear the room of all the furniture. We have done it several times when the idiots in sales oversell our suites!

To late, I've already got the wrong idea :)

Platinum Dave 04-15-2003 06:11 AM

$2500 is cheap.

trying doing a party like that at Internext with two suites and all night, three nights in a row.

$2500 per room per night would be cheap :)

I remember us waiting forever for a cab while the sun was rising over Bourbon Street and when the first cab came some tranny tried to steal it and KC was ready to kick he/she/it's ass..
I was pretty drunk at the time (who wasn't?).. Is that sort of how it went? I remember a few of us were too drunk to stand still so we ended up walking back to the hotel instead of waiting.. too drunk to remember who it was that walked back with me though.

That was one fun night :thumbsup
I seem to recall someone videotaping part of that night.. either D$ or one of his friends..
I'll have to ask him if he has it still.. would be funny to watch!

Easton 04-15-2003 06:58 AM

jeezus... imagine if had been in Phoenix too... the hotel damages might have been double... ROTF :1orglaugh

Now you make me laugh T, remember KC and the transvestite hooker outside the Famous Door?

OK....you remember more about this than I do LOL!!!! Yes, it was the Hilton.....and yes, they did move us. They were terrified about that wedding in the courtyard.......wouldn't you be? ;)

Yes, I agree. As long as we were doing club environments then there is little anyone can bitch about.....and yes, bringing Anthony just makes it even harder for them to bitch :)

Aaahhh, the Famous Door. A bunch of us were laughing about that over dinner in PHX last week! I wonder if Zebra remembers that shooter girl?? KC and Transvestite hooker......now that was funny as hell. I wish it was something juicy enough that Esa would get mad, but alas it was harmless. ;)

Hey Lens...From what I hear, you do not always have to wait for the guy to be drunk before making your move. Ask Dawgy for some pointers. :Graucho

Hey at least you didnt have worms in your bed

or fish in your bath tub

or a chunk of meat in your sink

or vaseline smeared wall to wall

I will never forget the look on the police officers face at 5am when he put his hand on his gun and said "what the fuck did you do in here?"

Rick Latona 04-15-2003 11:14 AM

I was never there. Hell, I didn't even go to Phoenix.

LMFAO, next time you'll know to bring your wading boots!

I can not believe that the police thought that you fucked up your own room. It's a good thing you got out of there before the alarm clocks all went off!!

Gabriel 04-15-2003 11:55 AM

Rumor has it, Paradise Valley P.D. made good use of the vaseline and treated Shok to a baton insertion party.

Its only a rumor of course.....

ROFL!!! Yes, I remember!! Wasn't this on the same night as his Birthday Party at Ditka's??? Anyone remember Cajun Barbie?? My favorite line from that night was what the waitress said as she was walking into the PDR...I won't repeat it for obvious reasons, but if you were there you will know EXACTLY what I am talking about.....right Amber?? ;)

- broken mirrors, pictures, and damage to the walls

The letter states "overall, the room was simply trashed"

Ok guys, anyone have anything they want to confess? :glugglug

Steve Lightspeed

That sucks. I used to do after parties for the Players Ball, but when Long Beach Dub Allstars trashed the room, burn marks on the floor, spilled drinks, etc, I said, fuck that shit.

I'll never do that again, lesson learned. But I sure am glad people like Lightspeed do it for us.

You know what's funny, out of all of my video tapes from past events, I have the most footage from that New Orleans convention. Famous Door, strip clubs, dinners, everything!

The reason I only have just that one clip from us raging that night, is because I have some really juicy webmasters gone wild footage. I just remembered hearing a few people say, don't put me in those clips, I don't want my face in that. That evening probably earned me my D$ Show credibility with webmasters. Having the juicy footage, listening to those who wished not to be seen, then never putting it out there. I'll never film someone that really doesn't want it seen. But that night, I had specific orders from a few people, it would have been the ultimate update too.

I might just do a new thing with the D$ Show. Like a webmaster time capsule. Re-stream old footage in a better quality high speed rate, with better editing. Back then a 225 kbps video stream was the fastest rate without buffering on a cable modem. These days my streams are 333 kbps, so it looks way clearer. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm about to re-master old footage and do it with today's technology. If anyone has a particular show they really enjoyed, just let me know and I can find the never seen before clips and put them up. The only thing I won't do is show the stuff I promised not to show. But man, I have a ton that would be funny shit to watch today. Webmasters sliding down the strip clubs pole, doing shots in groups of 30, etc. And after all of these years, we still have most of that core group of webmasters still doing it! Sweet T, thanks for the memories, fun days. This last show was just like the old days.

Remastered old D$ Show footage, coming soon.

Zebra 04-15-2003 03:19 PM

Wow! Fold posted on GFY!
Ya don't see that everyday.

It has been 3 years since New Orleans. We did 2 shows there within several months and everyone seemed ready for a change after that. Maybe it's time for another big show in New Orleans?

Hey Steve, Jay fom Star..

Did you or Richard get a chance to look at my new site tour? www.uglyjoe.com. I'd like your feedback if possible.
