                                                                                                                  So there were the slaves in the slave ships and then there were the immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships. I missed that part in history class. I did not know slave ships had tourist class accommodations. I see now. That must be where Martin Luther King got that "We have a Dream" stuff, from the black tourists of the 17th and 18th century.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Immigrating is moving to another country, definition is not being broken by voluntary or not.

                                                                                                                                                                                      You are used to using this word for voluntary immigration that is why it is "not correct" for you. But if you leave emotions out, Ben is 100% correct, involuntary immigration is immigration.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Slave definition has nothing to do with migration, it has to do with being property (migrated or not, nothing todo with definition of slave).
