    My thoughts on too much free porn and TGP's....

    As the title suggests, these are just my thoughts. Here goes:

    More and more TGP's are learning the benefits of posting "hosted galleries". If pay site owners provide a new "hosted gallery" each day and a TGP owner posts that gallery and receives 50% (or more) as an affiliate I believe you'll see a drastic decrease in the amount of galleries accepted by TGP's from the everyday joe.

    Pay site owners will create the galleries themselves (or pay an employee).

    So how does this affect the amount of free content available? It puts the TGP owner into a new mode. All of a sudden conversion ratios MATTER. If it looks like too much free porn hurts conversions, the TGP owner will allow galleries with less free content, and possibly accept fewer submissions per day.

    On www.Dirty4Free.com I post a maximum of 5 new links per day. Almost every link goes to a "hosted gallery" so that I receive money from every join that results from my site (I still accept galleries from a few people that don't have "hosted galleries because they've been loyal and I like their galleries).

              I realize that affiliates who don't actually own their own sites are likely scared shitless about TGP's that only accept hosted galleries... but it's the wave of the future. If they can get new, fresh galleries every day AND get $$ for every resulting sign up from their traffic then why in the world would they continue to accept galleries where they receive $0 ??

                  Because as soon as you start running hosted galleries exclusively, you lose a significant amount of your traffic.

                                              Thats the future man. As there are more and more affiliate programs, you will start to see a decrease in the amount of free spots.

                                                  Individuals who can produce interesting quality galleries without any horseshit will still be able to get listed with ease on plenty of TGPs. Those people who produce junk may feel the squeeze a bit, but hey thats no a problem in my eyes.

                                                          Not necessarily. That depends on what you mean by quality. If you're talking about beautiful galleries with a lot of pretty graphics you can count me out. Very simple galleries with only thumbs and text links convert better for me than any "pretty" gallery I've ever had created.
