GFY User Penny24Seven Stole $1800 From Me

After trying to resolve this with GFY user "Penny24Seven" (real name Brian) I have to post this calling him out. He has stolen $1800 from me. It started with this thread:

You can see that I offered to pay him for EXCLUSIVE content. Brian told me there were around 200 videos he hadn't sold to anyone else yet. We struck a deal to purchase these videos for $1800. I sent him via PayPal $1000. He DID send a HD and when I received it I sent the additional $800.

But when I checked the HD I found only 45 videos, no 2257 docs or IDs and no exclusive license agreement. I contacted Brian who said "they" (whoever "they" are) sent me the wrong HD and he would fix it ASAP. After numerous emails - which I will post in this thread as we go along - Brian said he would refund me the money via a money order. It has been six weeks now with no resolution in sight. No date for payment, no content, just crazy lame excuses.

I started a dispute with PayPal and now I am calling Penny24Seven out as a scammer, liar and thief. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON.

Anyone else have trouble with this deal? Apparently he sold some video sets to other GFY members, screwing them in the process too. Post here if you are one of those victims. Please PM me with any information you may have so we can recover the money sent.

In December I purchased a hard drive of content for $200. I received the drive fairly quickly, it's sitting here in my stack of drives. I have not reviewed it thoroughly.

In January I purchased another hard drive of content for $400, from the thread you listed above. I have not received that hard drive or the money back. I have received several bizarre reasons and excuses though, none of which are relevant to the fact that I sent money for a product not received. I filed a PayPal dispute in late February, I should be hearing from PayPal today actually regarding the status. Will post when I know more.

6 weeks later and filed a paypal dispute, ie I have to do more fucking around instead of masturbating in public, or posting my own inane shit on facebook etc that I could be doing.

Yes I know I am responsible for it and I am working to fix it. I think there was 16 transactions and 12 of them were not completed.
I might be off by one but that is what I have come up with so far. I will keep you posted the minute I can.
Been doing this for 17 years and had a few problems here and there but nothing like this.

After you had problems fulfilling some of the initial orders, why did you continue working deals and accepting new money? You should have ended your relationship with your supplier and not continued with new orders. Pay the money you owe even if it means coming out pocket and work with your supplier to get reimbursed.

I sold some of the old content licenses that I still had a couple left I could sell. They wanted me to sell some of the stuff they had made.
They make custom videos so there is a shit load of it.
I said okay no problem. It would help finish what they needed.
I did most of the deals and they were to send off the hard drives. I started by giving them a bunch I got from the store for cheap since they were all opened.
Anyway one of the girls thru a shit fit because she said she did not want the content being sold or that I sold it too many times. I have heard both reasons but that doesn't matter.
Some other bullshit happened and I have been fighting with them ever since.
There is a lot more to it but that sums up how this all started.
I know it is just excuses blah blah but it is what it is and I will get it resolved.

This is me and I have control over both GFY accounts. I am not trying to hide or say you have to get it from the girls.
I am responsible for this and I am not denying that. Yes it was my mistake to trust them but in my defense I have trusted them with WAY more and had no problems.
I know it is my problem and I will fix it. It sucks no being able to say much because it would help and I know it doesn't mean shit at the same time so until something changes that is all I can say.

In the event that something comes up and you cannot deliver the goods, you should never accept money upfront.

Actually best business practice to not accept it upfront regardless. Absolve yourself from these issues. Can't deliver? No problem. Nobody is fucked. You just take a little ding to your rep as making a promise you can't keep.
