theking is not a real person. he is a character.

he is an amalgam of many individuals on GFY.

All his responses are automatic. Much like that old text game where you could ask your computer questions and it would spit out generic answers.

I suspect theking may actually be an agent of the darkside.

At least some of the time he sounds fairly reasonable and has *some* knowledge of what he's talking about.

The fact of the matter is that this board is so pathetic that you don't know what is real and what is not.

Did we win? What did we win?

The war is not over, please go back to your CNN and ABC which seems to tell all the Americans that the war is over.

Kinda odd, we just moved more of our military over to the middle east to fight... Is the war not over?

Military Police still have not been moved into Iraq, why? Cause the fuggin war is still going full blast just not as many pockets of resistance and the US is starting to move faster.

The Iraq military was just overwelmed by US forces. The Iraq military put up a hell of a fight being smaller, out guned, out numbered, out planed and out bombed. Yet, we lost a very large amount of US military lives. Again, I guess we won the war.

How do I know? I'm a Marine, go figure. My ass has been on the front lines.

theking you just got lucky with your uneducated guess. if there was street fighting nobody would have noticed your prediction at all and it just would have gone away.

This war has been lopsided in every conceivable way. Planning, execution, intelligence, technology, information, psy ops. Saddam did his BEST.

"Very large amount"? Compared to what.

BTW .. Where did you fight on the "front lines"?

slackologist 04-14-2003 06:55 AM

The King is most likely correct, he'd have to be gfy's authority on all things war.

It's easy for america to win a war though, no allied force on earth could stand long against the good ol' us of a. I kinda feel sorry for the iraqi military ( the guy with the rusty ak47 riding a starving donkey)

The real objective of war should be to win peace a which is a long way off in iraq and unfortunatley or perhaps fortunatley, Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz & co being less than masters of rhetoric and political ambiguity stumble constantly on this issue. The war for peace has not started yet and won't be resolved for decades. ( my prediction )

:(

It's a shame it has to come to war, innocent men, women and children, trying to live thier lives in a much harder world than practically any american get ripped to bloody shreds, exploded or mushed into many pieces as buildings collapse on them, this effects everyone they know for the rest of their lives and into future generations.

Kids fight each other in the schoolyard. Thugs fight on the streets. In my opinion, mature people resolve problems in less violent ways and with sharper tools.

War is still popular though, it appeals to the dark instincts we've always had. It's like a big game of football where everyone in the country supports the same team, it unites us all and gives that fuzy feeling to many where usually lies just a well of bordem with life's repeating routines.

theking 04-14-2003 07:20 AM

I have stated that winning the war would be the easy part and winning the peace would be difficult (an understatement).

War has been with us since the beginning and will be with us until the end. There will not be fewer wars in the future. As we humans continue to suck this planet dry of its resources, more and more wars will be fought..."survival of the fittest". The circle will be completed.

It's a shame we didnt evolve faster on a higher path, perhaps we'd be intelligent enough to share resources and curb our greed.

Billions of years to draw a circle? damn, i was hoping for a triangle.. and maybe a few ellipses with little spirals and stuff coming off them..

Compared to us not going to war...

Front lines... 40 countries, stabed 3 times and shot in the chest..
Which front line would be a better question.

Wonder how long it would take to pick that one up ... lol

IT is propaganda. The US has hidden the identity of the real attackers. IT was the germans, disguised... with very long range airplanes...

:)

Are you fucking ignorant?

Everyone knows it was the Germans disguised as Japanese because the US government at the time wanted an excuse to invade Japan and steal their Sushi.

8 years later and I honestly don't remember MOST of what went down. Kinda made myself forget other than the few key things that I can't forget.

As for a flea or hill Marine, I have never heard of those terms. Myself though, Terrorist Reaction Team (trt) and Special Reaction Team (srt) as well as an MP ofcourse.

"A special reaction team is comprised of military police personnel trained to give an installation commander the ability to counter or contain a special threat situation surpassing normal law enforcement capabilities. All team members should be cross trained in all team duties. As a minimum, the special reaction team must be capable of isolating a crisis scene, providing proficient marksmanship support, conducting tactical movement and building entry, and clearing of buildings in a variety of light and weather conditions."

Once you advance to TRT you start going from US based reactions to international reactions.

I predicted that there would be little, if any street to street fighting. There was little street to street and the Infantry was not on point.

Ya, where are they ... LOL

Funny to read all this BS more than a year later...

No street fighting ...

Try 2 years later. 1500 dead later. I remember arguing the Bush loving cocksuckers on another board and I ask them how many US troops would die. Every one of them said well under 500.

I also rememebr in Nov 2003 predicting that by election day 2004 we would have over 1000 dead and I was called "moron", "idiot", "retard" , by the Bush loving cocksuckers and was told there was no way that we would ever lose over 1000 soldiers. We reached that mildstone in Spet 2004. And of course we are now over 1500.

I'll go ahead and predict we be over 2000 dead by the one year aniversary of Bush's re-inaugeration.
