              i think the sentence would have been lighter for both if they didn't have the gun. lifting your shirt with a gun underneath can get you in a hell of hot water if you are saying threatening shit. you don't even have to touch the gun. they did this around the time of the dylan roof stuff they got "thrown under the bus"
