I was the late bloomer. Freshman and sophomore years I was the thin little wanna-be that all the jocks fucked with to make themselves feel better. Then I did some growing up (physically only! I'm still a little immature fucker mentally) and returned the favor.
|
don't think I fit any of those really. I had friends and stuff but I think I was more of a loner than anything. Trying too hard to appear to be what my parents wanted me to be whilst hiding the punk chick inside of me. Traitor to myself really. Until the last part of senior year where I started telling everyone I had hated for the previous 11 years to fuck off and die. Ah, the birth of the real me.
|
I wasn't really in any type of category I guess. I had my small group of friend and was friendly with many others. I was into computers but I don't think you could say I was a geek. If I had to pick one though it would be rocker.

what about dropout.. I think I finished 6th grade
|
I went through my thug faze as all middle class suburban white kids do. Fazes are sure fun!

I was definitly the class-clown.. didn't hang with one group but with all groups.. just avoiding those 'populair' types that where to stupid anyway to spend one second on :Graucho
funniest shit on HighSchool... one school-party I helped organize... wasn't an expensive party (the 60ties party)... but it cost the school a fortune to clean up after the party. Everyone was high on dope and shit... even the teachers.... yeah I love the Netherlands :Graucho |
i was a bit of everything. at first in 4th through 6th grade i was friends w/ all the cool hip "in crowd" people, then i got my first computer and i was attatched to it from day 1.. lost all those friends and gained a few more computer related type friends... but i also played guitar and i joined up with several bands so i had those types of friends, nerds, and later on i started lifting a ton so i had muscle head jock types of friends.
|
I also was a mixture of all these types and though I tried not to disappoint my parents I didn't use to be an angel ...
|
I actually held a part time job working 7 days a week at night and weekends while I went to high school the entire time there. Never did I have to bum a dime from my parents, in fact, pop used to ask me to front HIM a few bucks til payday, lol.....I had no chores in the house in return.
My friends all went through that "trying to fit in" stage with all the socail circles and being accepted by the right people. I just enjoyed being me, so, I'd say that I did my own thing moreso than was anything in particualr. As you get older, the groups that were so strongly defined in high school really become blurred when you see someone from back in the day in your travels and recongize each other, start talkin about back in the day. The lines all go away in time. |

i was a all around well liked person, and pretty high profile,
but not cool, I was more like around with every one, playing a little sports , talking to ugly geek girls , talking to teachers, talking , talking, talking, I was voted like at least 6 things in the year book, Most likely to become president, Most likely to buy into a conversation, most likely to be a millionaire, adn so on, I was made fun of a bit, and included in pretty much all groups in the school, this seems to fit with most webmasters on here, we are not super stars, but at heart we are mostly all, free thinking, people persons, with a little edge , I know im part weird, as most of us , are, but I like this buisness, because I find most people in it share alot in common with me, even though we are spread through the world, and thats my :2 cents: |
"i was a rude boy...like my dad"

I was a thug for most of high school, used to get in alot of fights and all that....then I started seeing friends going to jail and got out of that mess real quick :) |
I don't think anybody even noticed me.
I had glasses, was overweight with pimples. I didn't even have a date to the prom. I was paranoid talking to people, and I didn't even have a best friend. So, I hung out with bikers and MC's people who didn't judge me by my looks. I am still paranoid talking to people so I come accross bullish and full of shit. I used to admire those beautiful people who were popular and social butterflies and wowed I would be one of them one day. Still working on it :1orglaugh |
I was just about everything. Played 3 sports, Top 25 in the class and loved by one an all.
|
Well, I had strange hairstyles for no other reason than boredom, and kind of (probably) fit best with the grunge crowd and the industrial music crowd (I was in high school at the peak of grunge & NIN)... but while they were listening to NIN and Nirvana, I was listening to The Melvins and Skinny Puppy.
Strangely, I was popular without ever asking for it (I still can't explain why, other than that I always had a great time)... and I hung out with people from just about every social group and status. So I really never fit neatly into any classifiable group. |
I was a hippie. Not in any kind of retro sense, either ... the first time around.
|
Where is the "enouragable child" choice or the "renegade" or "rebellious" ones?
Sheesh, whats a girl got to do here? |
