You said you had never watched and it's for people with low IQ's...

Why start now - Did you have a stroke and lose a few points?....

You do know it's just a big scam to get people to watch/buy more movies.

Fences, Moonlight look like boring films only there because they're black. Never saw them because of that. Captain Fantastic never heard of it.

La La Land was over-hyped crap that would work better on stage with actors who could dance and sing. Manchester by the Sea looked depressing so gave it a miss.

Hacksaw Ridge, Arrival, Hidden Figures, Collateral Damage and Lion were awesome films that beat anything above int a cocked hat.

This year's winners and nominees prove the power of the media.

Frankly speaking, Oscar has always been boring. It's just that we realized it now.

Right now, there is only one celebrity left in US and that is Donald Trump

Collateral Damage is a shitty Schwarzenegger movie, not an Oscar nominee.

I haven't seen La La Land because I don't like musicals. Moonlight is a great movie. Captain Fantastic is good, but not great, however, Viggo is fantastic in it. Manchester by the Sea is sad, but it is also a very good movie anchored by an amazing lead performance.

I meant Collateral Beauty. My mistake.

La La Land is dumbed down dancing and singing so the main characters can handle it, even the piano playing is simple so Gosling could handle lit. We love Stage Musicals, went to see Addams Family this weekend, and it would be great for the stage because the story is solid. But it needs better dancing routines and main singers.

                    Might rent the others.
