No one here is going to give you a real, experience-based answer to that.
But pretty obviously if your site looks like shit it'll convert worse. regardless of content. But a nice, simple design works just as good as a complicated, professional thing. See beeg vs pornhub
Content and effective landing pages are the most important things for conversion -
When it comes to a paysite it has to look professional but most of all trustworthy. If the surfer feels safe on your site it will convert better.

Fact. I bought decent content. Marketed it for that niche so there was no doubt to what you were landing on. My CMS sucked. Never worked right and so on. Get something good, spend money. Get a good billing company that's popular and you'll do better than most.
I would go with what the industry standard is or find something similar if you don't like the price because it matters.Comment
