Cedar point isn't so cheap compared to what you get. I think I paid about $75 per person 4 years ago. I haven't been back since, I know they have a few new attractions and it is defo a great theme park but having been to all the major parks in Florida as well, I would still rather go there than Cedar point.

My brother has 2 young boys, I know in 5-7 years he is going to want to take them to Disney in Florida and it will cost probably $10,000 for him, his wife and the two kids to go due to flights, hotels, park tickets and eating. I'm sure he isn't looking forward to that day lol.

If you must go to Disney, do this:

        - Go to the Florida park, not the California Park.
        - Don't go yet, wait. Disney Florida is adding a new Star Wars area soon.
        - Don't go yet, waitx2: Disney Floria is also opening a Pandora / Avatar area soon. (Wow!)
        - Get a park hopper pass / speed line pass
        - Stay at an off-site Hotel. Many offer free shuttles to the park and you save alot.
        - Make the most out of your Trip and get a 2-way Park-hopper pass to Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure too (Very worth it).

It will still cost you an arm and a leg but Florida is much better value, and since you're going anyway, see both parks, and see all the latest rides & attractions.

Finally, forget about the money while you're there. Just have fun. If you worry about the money you spend while you're there, you're wasting your money.

Disneyland London´s meant to be the biggest yet, wondering if they´re going to charge the similar prices or make those bigger too!

I can second this. If you have the money and have a choice between Disneyland in California and Disney World in Florida, go Florida every time.
