    Tesla Model S now the worlds quickest car.

    The Tesla Model S can go from zero to 60 faster than any other street-legal car around. That includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis and any other crazy exotic sports car you can think of.

                                          Don't get me wrong, Tesla is a beautiful car. But it's an electric car. You can't compare it to a combustion car.

                                              Agreed and everything in it is cheap too. I don't like the leather, dash steering wheel etc in the Tesla in comparison to my 458 or even my 911 Turbo S. the driving experience isn't even close. The model S is cool for the price point and if I was getting a sedan I would consider it but it's just not the same.

                                                          It depends... and to be fair, its impossible to compare too because car-love is subjective. You can never successfully argue that 1 car is cooler than another car. There are just too many datapoints to cover.

                                                          Personally, I loved Firebirds & Trans-ams, and hated Camaros. They were the same $%^@ car but I only had eyes for firebirds. I bought a 2010 and 2013 Camaro, but still, firebird for me. It was only in 2014 that I decided that ICE wasn't cool anymore.

                                                          Ferrari is all about performance, class, style. If you like and can afford Farrari's, no other car will do it for you. For me, it's Tesla. If someone gave me a brand new (or classic) Ferrari today, I'd feel nothing. I'd sell it tomorrow and buy a Tesla. But then again, if someone gave me a '69 Firebird or a '76 "Bandit" Trans Am worth $80k or so, I would not trade it for a Tesla. Subjective.

                                                                                      This is a great point really. No matter how fast your car is, we all drive the same speeds on the freeway.

                                                                                      Don't get me wrong, I know all too well the feeling of a 500 HP car flat out. It's fun. But the reality is much different. I would say 99% of the time all drive the same speed.

                                                                                      I've heard of lot of people from Europe say "American cars feel cheap inside". I had a Jaguar a few years back, and while I understand at that point it was basically a Ford, it was nice but not really any different inside. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has pretty much the same interior. I've been to Europe, I've been in cars in Europe, and.... They all seem the same to me. Same exact cars we buy here.
