        So then it knows where it has moved to? Maybe, but how? GPS? Gyroscopes? Seems like an expensive way to do it, no?

            Telemetry feedback is pretty cheap these days - using a GPS app and sensors can be done for less than the cost of the fireworks they used

                    You can buy tiny chips which have an internal compass, accelerometers and tilt sensor for a couple of dollars. Dead reckoning is where you estimate your current position based on movements from a known location.
