Dead reckoning? Each stick is calibrated at a specific physical start point, then figures out its relative position based on subsequent movements.

So then it knows where it has moved to? Maybe, but how? GPS? Gyroscopes? Seems like an expensive way to do it, no?

Telemetry feedback is pretty cheap these days - using a GPS app and sensors can be done for less than the cost of the fireworks they used :thumbsup

Great show! You have to be in shape to actually sing and move around like that - she also actually played the piano, not like these dumb fucks that can't sing or play anything.

You can buy tiny chips which have an internal compass, accelerometers and tilt sensor for a couple of dollars. Dead reckoning is where you estimate your current position based on movements from a known location.

When she pre recorded her "fake" bungee jump, that was shown to the tv audience, then was lowered down flat, like a piece of wood...

Did you like her lip syncing to a pre recorded live version of her music? They would turn on her mic to speak, then she went back to lip syncing. Disgraceful.

If singers can't sing live, then what is the point?
