What is that thing called when you go to leave a site .....

When you go to leave a site and click the X at the top right and it knows you are leaving and a pop up window shoots up with a message. I have been seeing this a lot lately.
Normally just a quick note but it sure gets your attention.
If you know what it is called please post it or PM me.

this is so disrespectful to your surfers...the only way to top this is to have one of them "do you want to leave this site" scripts that pop up when you try to close the window...

if you did not manage to get their attention with your main content then a popup is not going to help you any

so much shit people put on their sites, this is the least disrespectful of what i have seen

also affiliate webmasters in mainstream are crossing some lines with various shit which no one would tolerate on porn sites.

exit popup and entry modal window are normal these days.

I am not using it on our site jackoff but I do have a good idea for it.
I will have to have it edited for what I need but it will be a neat feature.
This will be for people who I do not need to get their attention. I will already have it.

i think it´s a good idea, coz sometimes it´s accidental, but moving on is an easy thing...

to have a pop up, it´s good to ask, is this what you wanted, a simple yes or no is great
