I wash my hands a LOT, try not to scratch my eyes no matter how itchy. Avoid railings, elevator buttons, too may hugs and kisses, people sneezing into their hands, then shaking yours. Sweaty handshakes, I go to wash my hand right after 
I drink lots of water, actually go outside the breathe fresh air. A few years ago, I did a 16 day stretch, I was sick for a month and a 1/2 after, antibiotics etc. I try not to have that happen
