Is Phatforum's traffic useless, I just saw in one of my referrer logs that they listed a gallery of mine. I have heard alot about their hotlinking of movies but it does not seem that they have done that to me.

Any thoughts?

Most of their posters hotlink movies and only a few link to galleires but in either case this traffic is of a low quality.

Traffic is traffic. It's poor quality to be sure, but if it's going to a gallery, at least you have the opportunity to convert them. Throw an .htaccess for hotlinking in there, and don't worry about it. As long as you can afford the extra bandwidth (which shouldn't be much), then maybe you can snag a few memberships.
