"This was all amicable, and not our decision, but here's why we did it..." ? It sounds like the only reason LS gave wasn't quite what happened. Though I guess it's always a mixture of things. |
"wouldn't treat my worst enemy that way and I hope you change your mind. A common sense approach would be to send the traffic to Nina's affiliate program when she gets it running and send it to your affiliate code. Simply ripping her site from your servers and stealing traffic that was going to Nina is wrong. Handle this matter as business and get over the personal problems you have with her. There is no excuse for fucking somone that bad regardless of the situation and if that is what you choose to do may it come back in bite you in the ass. "
having been one fucked that bad I know what that's like.... Steve- we have mended our fences...but I disagree with you on this. Nina is her own person at this point I would assume she is mildly upset...and I would recommend that you both come to an amicable solution over this before it gets messy I have to unfortunately get very messy with someone stealing from me now...and they were FRIENDS... Red SHow as they also say in the greatest movie of all time... "keep your friends close......and your enemies closer" But in my case and in the case of COLLEGEFUCKFEST "HYMAN ROTH make money for all of his partners....." I think Nina has a little Hymen in her too no? :1orglaugh |

Well it seems like there are so many heavy hitters looking to help Nina out, that I'm not sure I could be of comparitively significant help. But I do feel bad about this situation. It's very stupid.
I do have a few insights that might help Nina transcend porn land a little more after the smoke clears. And if there is anything I can do tech wise I'd be glad to lend a hand for a couple of days. |
This is really fucked up.
Sorry to hear that nina. :( Things will get better. Great to see people showing support to you. |
Nina is the master of playing "pity poor me" -- that's how she found her way to Lightspeedcash in the first place.
I have exhausted every effort to try to make Nina happy, and to get her to fulfill her contractual obligation. Her solution was "why don't you just be a nice guy and let me go 4 months early" I have not closed her site, nor have I withheld any money owed her. However I don't see it as fair that I have spent my time and money building her traffic and popularity so that she can skip away with everything, leaving me with refunds, chargebacks, and a lot of pissed of affiliates. If Nina truly "knows best" -- she would learn the value of honoring a contract. This is not the first time she has left a sponsor high and dry. She refused every effort at negotation, so I have given her until the end of the week to move her site. I would prefer all these details not be public rumor-fodder -- believe me I'm a bigger Ninaknowsbest fan than anyone. I'm sorry it ends this way, I tried to salvage it. KB -- remember bro, there's two sides to every story, and sometimes things are not always what they seem. I did not fire her, she quit, and without giving a good reason. Steve Lightspeed |

No, your solution was to let her "skip away" with NOTHING.
And then to take potshots at her on the boards. And then give her 3 days to move and setup new processing. Classy. Go and grow some business ethics. You know that you are allowed to deal in porn and still have them, right? |
Sorry to hear this. Good luck, Nina.

Steve Lightspeed True. I agree with you whole heartedly. |
It seems odd to go from "your contract says 4 more months" to "be gone in 3 days". Was there no way to make things work for the remaining 4 months?

Yeah, that's right, I've spent 4 years growing Lightspeedcash into a company renowned for honesty and integrity, and I *suddenly* decide to change my policy with Nina. RIGHT. I'll let my history in the biz speak for itself. I did not choose this path for Nina. |
Sorry to hear that Nina.... If there is anything you need, or just someone to "sound" off of...hit me up on ICQ.
Goodluck to you in the future... :thumbsup |
To every story, there are three sides. His, hers, and the truth somewhere in between. We have heard only part of each side's story in this, and don't have much access to the rest of the story. I don't think of either Lightspeed or Nina as being dishonest, unscrupulous, or cheats. Something happened, though, and it is a real shame.

Look I Like Nina like the rest of you, and I also Like the Lightspeed crew and programs. Why don't all of you stay the fuck out of all of their business???..... I'm sure neither of them want to keep having their personnal businesses aired on a message board??? Both sides have already posted, and they have said what they wanted to. Stop making more of it then their really is.....geesh don't any of you have lives??? or a business to run??... Nina is no longer with Lightspeed !!! end of story. Move on :2 cents: :2 cents: |
I have seen some big programs pick up some sites, offer them to there webmaster base, and then later on have us pull the links
CE has done this with a few sites - and nobody cared |

Shitty situation whatever the "Total truth may be"
Wish the best for Nina and all parties involved. |
I should point out that this is my personal opinion - I flame stuff like this reflexively and my biz partners don't always agree with me.
In this case this is just my opinion, not that of Spotbrokers. |

Good for you Backov. :thumbsup :thumbsup what goes around usually comes around. I've been in business longer than most of you are old and learned sometime ago don't burn your bridges, but shit it took me along time to learn. What I've seen in the porn business they don't even have a fucking bridge to burn, and they just keep coming and going. And don't have a clue why they are gone. |
thats right.
if any of you need SpotBrokers info icq me 5061408 ill get you squared away. :glugglug |

Let me point out to all of you that Backov has already noted this to be his personal opinion. Spotbrokers is not, and will not, be in the business of getting in the middle of issues between partners and or contractors of other companies. This stands for any and all disputes that don't involve us as a company, and has nothing to do with personal feelings for either side of an issue. |

I've known Steve Lightspeed for a long time. I don't see that it's my personal business what's going on between him and a partner or an employee or whatever since I do not work there or own a piece of it. I guess other people don't see it that way, which is a shame. |

Well, I just clicked one of my old "Nina" links and got Taylor Little.
Guess I'll have to replace those nina-links with her updated links from her new program this weekend. Onward. |

of course you have a LOT more business experience than me...... but (:1orglaugh) as i see it........ if personA were to sign a legally binding contract with personB, saying "if i stop working for personB's company, then i won't be able to keep the rebills for the project i've been working on, under their company name" regardless of what onlookers think, that contract is still legally binding and that's what would happen unless both parties decide to agree to an alternative. of course a contract agreement is not everything, anyone can appreciate that.... it's easy to see right here, some onlookers aren't exactly loving "bad boy lightspeed" right now :2 cents: |

OK...I had to post again too.
Kimmy...it would be much easier to stay out of their business if they didn't bring it to the board. Does dragging your own program through this shit really pay off? Quote:
