Wow, that's a blast from the past. Yeah I used to watch the Snorks in Germany back in the 80's.

Anyone remember a tv show called Manamal? It was about a guy who could change into any animal he wanted. That and a show called Voyagers where a kid and some guy would travel through time using a pocket watch called an Omni.

Anymore obscure 80's pop culture shows?

How about the spin-off series from Buck Rogers that starred Hawk, the half man, half-hawk guy? I don't think it lasted more than two or three episodes. I can't even remember the name.

Speaking of terrible spinoffs, remember "Enos"? The deputy from the Dukes of Hazzard that moved to the city and drove a Chrysler with a huge blower scoop on the hood...classic TV.

Or how about Three's a Crowd... Jack Tripper moves out of the apartment and gets married to Vicky. Somehow they still managed to work the Ropers in there too. Or maybe it was Mr. Furley, I forget.

They should make a network that runs nothing but failed spinoffs every day. I would watch.

Actually Google tells me there was no spin off of Buck Rogers, I was just thinking of the second season of Buck Rogers where they added the Hawk guy and changed the setting.

Yeah I think I remember it -- very cool show. He could change into a hawk I think and a panther or something... I was really young but I remember the special effects seemed really cool!

Also there was a show w/ a guy that drove some kind of digital lamborghini and he had a sidekick called "cursor" that would draw him shit -- i loved that shit... I can't remember the name of the show now...

Automan himself (CHUCK WAGNER!) was spangly leotearded but with normal head. Disappeared at night when people of the city turned on lights, electric toothbrushes etc., thereby draining his power (rather large drawback for a super-hero). Pretty much arse, really.
