Since paypal is fucking us in the ass...

Has anyone tried these guys?

http://www.anypay.com/
http://www.stormpay.com/

Anypay looks pretty much identical. For a lot of us, we will need to find a new system to process our billing. Maybe if enough people like one of the systems above a lot, we could start making it an industry standard as a payment option. Thoughts?

Hmm Anypay looks a little weak -- their signup form is too complex for people to want to spend money with it... The Stormpay looks hot tho!

We have offices in the US, UK and Russia. Our main office is in Russia, Moscow. We never open accounts in real-time at Yambo.

People apply for a new account at our website and then our rep asks questions by email that help us to determine whether we want to work with this customer or not, whether his/her business fits our requirements or not. The rep personally makes a decision about account approval. We decline 50% applications. Activation of the most of our services requires a photocopy of passport or any ID.

We think this is the only way to not to be involved in any kind of computer crime.

Could someone from epasseport please confirm this for me :

My understanding from your website is that the service is NOT for taking credit card payments from customers on a website, it is for distributing payments to affiliates or managing expenses for company employees.

Every time there's a discussion about taking payments, up comes epassporte again, even though they don't take payments.

Please would you clarify.

Thanks

There is a new website up that just launched yesterday so if you have not been there since then, you should check it out again. Hopefully it is much clearer now.

https://www.epassporte.com/

Epassporte has applications for both accepting payments and doing P2P transfers.

As an Internet vendor/sponsor, you can accept payments from any other epassporte account holder. Potential customers of your site are interested in using epassporte because they can protect their credit, shop anonymously, and enjoy acceptance from regions normally blocked by processors because of the risk of the territory. Non-high risk merchants accept epassporte on the Visa network just as any other Visa as long as the bank supports CVV2 authentication. The issuance protocol for epassporte, known as EPVerify, virtually eliminates fraud from compomised card numbers. We all know that recent news has disclosed millions of card numbers have been compromised over the past few months. All the more reason to use a pre-paid card to protect your credit.

In the space of the webmaster community, epassporte supports P2P transfers between epassporte account holders in real time and at a very low cost. Now sponsors can pay affiliates (all over the world) with a few clicks of a mouse. Pay your host, talent, virtually anyone you ever send money too with epassporte.

Now issued in over 100 countries and counting, epassporte is quickly becoming the P2P method of choice and a great alternative to surfers who previously could not be your customer.

If epassporte is not offering something you need, drop me a line and we'll see if we can make it work for you.

Only 2 things that I consider prohibitive in using this...

1) CVV2 requirements seem to be killing/quashing a lot of potential customers, 2 webmasters from Euro (Spain?) I belive have mentioned this problem already...

2) Ability to depost cash in a bank account....

Good points.

But don't forget... epassporte is taking on a high-risk market within a high risk market. CVV2 is one of the most important protections in preventing fraud, credits, and chargebacks.

However, we are looking into other methods of authentication until the banks of the world are all following the Visa Reg's the way they are supposed to. Always accept a credit card when you can, but when you cannot, epassporte is the best alternative for those sales you were already losing. Your customer get's to your site, your content, and you get paid the same percentage as any other credit card sale. Epassporte IS a Visa.

As for the ability to move your cash from epassporte to your own bank account. Again, it IS coming. Already being built and tested. It won't be long.

Don't change the channel. More to come.

Thank you Rand - certainly the website is a vast improvement, though I have to say I would not have concluded from the public site that you can take payments from surfers - so I appreciate the clarification.

We're also looking at using your service for affiliate payments on a new service we're launching later this month, and I'm pleased to hear you have plans to overcome the existing limitations. However the fees have now disappeared from the new site.

What is the fee structure please for an affiliate scheme, and also for taking payments from card holders (assuming you have an instant notification system for this).

I'll also be in touch by email tomorrow to take this further.

Regards

Danny Watkins

Have you ever heard of TokenSystems? I have been using them for a long time now and I believe their system is the best way to charge for your content.

It is a pay-per-view AVS company and you can charge a couple dollars for just one movie clip and believe me, PEOPLE WILL PAY IT! Save your bandwidth charges and don't give your whole site away for $20-30 a month. Make a couple dollars off just one movie clip!

Here is some more information:
http://www.tokensystems.com/promo.htm

P.S. I don't make a penny from that link above, I just wanted to tell you about TokenSystems, becuase of PayPal canning all adult accounts.

Thank you.
