Actually I didn't think that Honda was rice. I just don't see the big deal with a car with a Turbo and that many mods hanging with a Viper for a couple of seconds. And that is all it was, hanging and the Viper started pulling. Hard.

Obviously I don't have timeslips for someone else's car. The fact is you can't tell any more from that clip than I can. Maybe he wasn't pushing the car, maybe he had a compression problem, maybe he didn't engage all his nitrous stages, blah, blah, blah. I could just as easily say "Post a timeslip to prove it isn't a 10-second car" and that would be just as valid as your request for a timeslip.

For the record, look back at the post I made that started this. I never claimed to believe that was a 10-second car, anyway.

Tha reminds me of an article in one of the car magazines about two years ago. They did a race test with a Viper, a Corvette, some other cars and an '87 Grand National. As I remember, all the cars were stock except for the Grand national. The grand National came in second place behind the Viper. <B>The only mod on the Grand National was that they had removed the catalytic converter.</B> I thought that was a hoot.

Edit: I'll see if I can dig that up just to check my facts.
