    US Age Of Consent to be raised to 21 in 2017

    Looks like the Age Of Consent in America will be 21 in 2017 according to this article Legal Age Of Consent In United States To Be Increased To 21 - Civic Tribune

    I heard it on the radio yesterday and confirmed it by looking it up online. It looks like they are going to pass a bill raising the Age Of Consent because too many 18- 20 yr olds are getting pregnant. Apparently this will happen sometime in 2017

    I guess hiring female performers aged 18-20 will now be illegal? Aren't most females in porn 18-20 age range? How will this effect the business?

                                                                  For contracts it is 18.

                                                                  Some states have Romeo and Juliet laws that allow 12-17 year olds to have sex legally. Their ages need to be less than 2 years apart or the like.

                                                                              If anything it should be decreased to 16, not increased. Nowadays probably majority of people have sex before they turn 18, so 21 would be beyond ridiculous.
                                                                              Also it is funny how you can go to the army and kill people by the age of 18, but can not buy a beer till you 21. This one should be changed to 18 as well.
