Should a pay site ever raise its price? - GoFuckYourself.com

Do you know of any pay sites that have raised its price at some point? Do you think it's appropriate to do so ever?

Scenario I'm wondering about is let's say you have a new site with little content at the start, so you decide to give it a low subscription price of $9.99 per month. Months down the line you have a much bigger library and think of increasing the price to $19.99 per month. Is that logical to do? Or is that seen as a big "Fuck you" to your current members and do you risk giving your site a bad rap because of it?

I've been speaking with my partner & many friends about this recently & the outcome was the same from us all. When you look at prices of homes & cars, general foods & other expenses they have risen, however, electronics, wines &, this most important, prices of internet & subscriptions to wifi, the prices haven't changed. The quality has risen, however, the price hasn't inflated & tbh, with so much free porn, I feel the price cannot lift
