We just went through a huge challenging project of setting up all our accounts in Nifty. There are some features that SR had, they do not have, but the are open to suggestions. Nifty also has some cool things that were not in SR. The support from Nifty has been excellent so far.

I posted a few posts up that I had asked them add in "Performers" for Streamate so that models can pull in their stats.
That was yesterday that I asked Paul for that. He replied today and it is now part of the program! THAT is fast. :) |

Hey, I'm happy about that turnaround time. :)
Also just got the Nifty Stats App working and I'm looking at my stats on my S7 Galaxy phone. Too cool! :) |

Anyone had luck with Paypal refunds? Purchased 2 subscriptions back at the end of June. It was like $500. He owes me close to $250 if he's in the wind. Never disputed something that old in Paypal and wondering if I'm shit out of luck or not.

StatsRemote:(
Long time StatsRemote user here and up until this point a very satisfied one as well. Consistent numbers, easy to use, a lot of great features...etc.
Super unfortunate to see the program come to what everyone is speculating is it's end, especially like this. Neil if you're out there, don't know what's happening, but wishing you the best good sir! If anyone hears about/from Neil or his StatsRemote peers, if they ever existed. Please don't forget about this thread and keep us posted! I also found another thread on gpwa.org/forum/statsremote, more SR users are looking for some answers regarding this unexpected turn of events. Some pretty decent info on it, worth a read: |
I can't run niftystats on my mac :(
|
So sad to see SR blown in the wind.

I loved that StatsRemote had a Linux version. Back in the day I used to run Windows in a VM to use SR on my Linux box. When they started supporting Linux it was a happy day for me. Guess I'm back to using a VM so I can use NiftyStats now. I might try to see if I can get it running using wine too.
I really hope Neil is OK. He's always struck me as a top-notch guy. IF he just up and abandoned volitionally, without warning his paying customers, then I'm speechless... |

The company behind Stats Remote is Network 24/7 GmbH
Network 24/7 GmbH +4971199522295 It lists Johannes Becker as managing director and from old emails I can see that StatsRemote's affiliate accounts always used to be in his name. On a gaming forum I read that people said Johannes stopped working with Neil quite a while ago and moved on to other things. When you google Johannes name and Network 24/7 GmbH it looks like he owns a lot of other sites and companies. I can't find anything about who Neil is, it seems Neil was maybe the developer working for Johannes and when Johannes moved on Neil kept running StatsRemote for him. |
Found an old email signed as "Neil McPartlin (on behalf of Johannes Becker)"
also found that name in a gaming magazine: http://i.imgur.com/R28HJiE.png "Neil McPartlin, Account manager of StatsRemote" So that's the Neil guy. Full name seems to be Neil Gerard McPartlin I did some digging in old emails and IP login logs and it seems he is located in Slovenia, searching his name there it looks like he had some IT consultancy company there at one point. Through that I have found his phone number and email. I will reach out and will post if I find out anything. The company that did the actual Dev for StatsRemote was ebsromania.ro (now part of NNT Data) |
To get the stats updated do:
1. Close SR 2. Set your device date prior or at January 5th (you did it) 3. Re-open SR, you will be prompted with a message such as "Your system date is wrong... ect..." 4. Click "Ok" 5. Go to another tab such as "Last Month" or "Yesterday" or whatever you want. Stay there for a bit, till a new popup warns you that the date on your device is wrong. Don't click "ok"! 6. Set your correct date, now click "ok" 7. SR will start to count the new stats Does not work for me though... |

For those on PC, you may need to circumvent Java security by following instructions here:
https://www.kunxi.org/blog/2015/01/b...ocsp-response/ and possibly also here: https://sourceforge.net/p/kmttg/wiki...ion/?version=7 (read section about "java.security.cert.CertificateException: Certificates does not conform to algorithm constraints" and the nine rows below it, about how to comment out one line of text. THEN follow the procedure laid out above, quoted here for convinience: Quote:

Called 2CO to cancel my subscription. Was told that the Statsremote account (Network 24/7 GmbH) does not exist anymore in their system and the account has been closed. 2CO are, however, still able to issue refunds on subscriptions.

Can confirm the last way of running SR worked for me. Until the domain name dies I guess.

the fall of one company...brings about the rise of another. |
SR fails to even load for me now.
|
For me it works, just It needs more attemps. 5 - 10 attemps per day and only 1 is fully successful. Every unsuccessful attemp gets only 30 - 80% of all stats. (I use about 150 programs).
I recommend to have ST closed for long time between attemps. For example if you have set ST to check your stats every 30 minutes you need to have close ST for more than 30 minutes before every attemp. (and of course every time do the list above) |
I recommend Nifty Stats is a good and stable program

When SR will stop forever will still be better invest one hour per month to check all my sponsors manually than using Parallels + Windows + Nifty Stats. |
2 more days until the statsremote domain expires. 1/27/2017

either problem with support or the company might have sold or be going under. Unusual to not get replies from support.

Domain was renewed tho.
