That wasn't too bad. I cleaned up my active affiliate list. Got rid of CyberAge, AdultCheck, TrafficCash, Melissa Money, JayMan Cash, Hundies, ....

Lost all my stats tough from 2000ish...

rogueteens 01-07-2017 11:40 AM

I'm finding this move hard going :( NS just doesn't want to show the latest CCBill hits for some reason although it found sales (i'm also not keen on it not showing the list of CCBill sponsors like SR did.). Verotel also doesn't show hits, Sliiing shows nothing at all although its showing a green box so it's working I presume.
Nothing showing for plugrush for today (does it run a day late?)
And not a NS problem but how the fuck do I find my Model Centro API key? I clicked the enable NS in the Model Centro admin but no API key showed.

CCBill is taking forever.

with me, epoch and ccbill client are taking forever, ccbill affiliate was pretty quick but I'm thinking it might not have done it properly.

If it doesn't show the CCBill breakdown and it doesn't have some of the programs I use most, I think migration will be pointless for me.

Does anyone know if setting Computer date back still gives access to past StatsRemote data?

So bummed,

mechanicvirus 01-07-2017 03:01 PM

How can you view seperate programs on CCBill through NiftyStats? Used to be able to do it in statsremote with one click.

It does. It shows ALL of the programs I've worked with under my CCBill account. You simply click the + next to CCBill in the program list, then you will see Referrals and Sales. Expand Sales and all programs are listed.

When setting adding CCbill to NS, you can even tell it what to grab, sales only, sales + referring URL's, etc. It's actually nicer than how SR did it insofar as breakdowns of CCBill programs are concerned.

Amelia, it's a free download. Just try it. I was reluctant as well, but it's working fine here. You might need to play around with it a little bit to get the look you want (you can choose from several UI themes), get the columns in the reports you want, add any custom data, etc. In the end, it does the same job. It just looks a bit different at first glance.

So bummed,

It does show the breakdown. :)

What I've ended up doing is simply not worrying about trying to get years and years of data.
When I tried that it wasn't going to work.

Instead I'm just pulling Dec. 2016 forward. Fuck the old stats. lol

And when you do that with CC Bill it will show all the accounts that are merged under the main account. CC Bill just has slow stats.

Give it a shot Amelia. I did. Went ahead and bought a year's subscription and after my initial frustration trying to drag in years and years of numbers...I'm pretty happy today now that I have just said "screw the old stats" and started looking to the future. :)

abshard 01-07-2017 06:52 PM

I'm in the process of moving my ~200 accounts over to nifty stats,it's a slow process.

I also asked them about implementing some of the features I'm missing from stats remote like the difference tab, forecasting and leaving the tray icon in the tray when program is open. They said they would look into them.

I hope they do look into them because without these functions this is clunky...

well, i'll be buggered if I can get them to show, I've tried both the regular ccbill option and the flexstats one.

geirlur 01-08-2017 04:21 AM

Well You can still keep your old stats.

Just use the date trick then pull up "All Time" stats and click Ctrl+S to save to a csv file.
I saved two files, one with all the columns and one where I just kept sales, rebills, $$$ and ratio for easier viewing.

(or just do the date trick every time you wanna check old stats :D )

Would be nice if I could export my 256 sponsors into NS but then again I can probably remove a large bunch of those sponsors :1orglaugh

If more and more people ask for them, they will. I've been a customer for years, and they did listen to some suggestions to make the software better (and of course to add missing programs). So...keep asking things guys, i'm sure they are celebrating this moment and, at the same time, they don't want to let these new customers be hunhappy ;-)

Did statsremote completely die ?

AlexTmz 01-08-2017 05:22 AM

is here any way to import sponsors from Statsremote to Nifty?
or only add each sponsor again?

They should be able to add features. I am sure they just got a nice sign up bump.

I gave them a temporary login to put performer stats for cam girls for Streamate in yesterday and Paul said they would get that done as quickly as possible.
So "yeah", it looks like they are definitely responsive to the customers needs. :)

Hey Slav... that's the thing, everyone is in the dark since Neil has stopped responding and the last updates were made in November. Add to that expiring SSL cert(s) and the domain itself is set to expire this month, and it makes for an interesting situation.

I think a lot of people, myself included, are hoping for the best for Neil / SR, but are meanwhile taking a proactive approach in getting NiftyStats setup as a replacement.

I'm sure that most of us users of SR have NS set up on the free trial in the hope that SR comes back before the trial runs out! Its looking like NS could have quite a bump of paying users in a months time.

Harry Jackson 01-08-2017 12:41 PM

We just went through a huge challenging project of setting up all our accounts in Nifty. There are some features that SR had, they do not have, but the are open to suggestions. Nifty also has some cool things that were not in SR. The support from Nifty has been excellent so far.

Robbie 01-08-2017 04:56 PM

I posted a few posts up that I had asked them add in "Performers" for Streamate so that models can pull in their stats.
That was yesterday that I asked Paul for that.
He replied today and it is now part of the program!
THAT is fast. :)

Anyone had luck with Paypal refunds? Purchased 2 subscriptions back at the end of June. It was like $500. He owes me close to $250 if he's in the wind. Never disputed something that old in Paypal and wondering if I'm shit out of luck or not.

MGSecondaryRevenue 01-09-2017 04:11 PM

StatsRemote:(

Long time StatsRemote user here and up until this point a very satisfied one as well. Consistent numbers, easy to use, a lot of great features...etc.

Super unfortunate to see the program come to what everyone is speculating is it's end, especially like this.

Neil if you're out there, don't know what's happening, but wishing you the best good sir!

If anyone hears about/from Neil or his StatsRemote peers, if they ever existed. Please don't forget about this thread and keep us posted!

I also found another thread on gpwa.org/forum/statsremote, more SR users are looking for some answers regarding this unexpected turn of events. Some pretty decent info on it, worth a read:

I loved that StatsRemote had a Linux version. Back in the day I used to run Windows in a VM to use SR on my Linux box. When they started supporting Linux it was a happy day for me. Guess I'm back to using a VM so I can use NiftyStats now. I might try to see if I can get it running using wine too.

I really hope Neil is OK. He's always struck me as a top-notch guy. IF he just up and abandoned volitionally, without warning his paying customers, then I'm speechless...

The statsremote owner is Neil Kieren, anyone know his state and country?

I have always thought that the company listed in the billing statements, Network 24/7 GmbH is a German company that seems to belong in Stuttgart, and given the time of day when emails were answered, I have always thought of him to be European based and due to the name, more so in Germany.

Konda 01-10-2017 10:59 PM

The company behind Stats Remote is Network 24/7 GmbH
Network 24/7 GmbH
+4971199522295

It lists Johannes Becker as managing director and from old emails I can see that StatsRemote's affiliate accounts always used to be in his name.

On a gaming forum I read that people said Johannes stopped working with Neil quite a while ago and moved on to other things.

When you google Johannes name and Network 24/7 GmbH it looks like he owns a lot of other sites and companies.

I can't find anything about who Neil is, it seems Neil was maybe the developer working for Johannes and when Johannes moved on Neil kept running StatsRemote for him.

Konda 01-10-2017 11:54 PM

Found an old email signed as "Neil McPartlin (on behalf of Johannes Becker)"

also found that name in a gaming magazine:
http://i.imgur.com/R28HJiE.png
"Neil McPartlin, Account manager of StatsRemote"

So that's the Neil guy. Full name seems to be Neil Gerard McPartlin

I did some digging in old emails and IP login logs and it seems he is located in Slovenia, searching his name there it looks like he had some IT consultancy company there at one point. Through that I have found his phone number and email. I will reach out and will post if I find out anything.

The company that did the actual Dev for StatsRemote was ebsromania.ro (now part of NNT Data)

Pornopat 01-11-2017 12:38 AM

To get the stats updated do:

1. Close SR
2. Set your device date prior or at January 5th (you did it)
3. Re-open SR, you will be prompted with a message such as "Your system date is wrong... ect..."
4. Click "Ok"
5. Go to another tab such as "Last Month" or "Yesterday" or whatever you want. Stay there for a bit, till a new popup warns you that the date on your device is wrong. Don't click "ok"!
6. Set your correct date, now click "ok"
7. SR will start to count the new stats

Does not work for me though...

I've already tried nifty in wine and it works, although wine seems to have a problem with scaling if you you're using a hidpi display. Other than that, everything worked out great for me while I tested it.

it can, just that ccbill is such a pile of shit that those particular stats will take a lot of time/effort. Same as if you installed SR on a new machine and didn't back up like an idiot (hello!!), ccbill took a few days. Obviously ccbill gets worse not better with time, so now it's even more of a ballache. No problems whatsoever with other programs and older stats.

Can you tell I don't like ccbill much :upsidedow

give nifty a whirl, you'll probably be like me - not exactly over the moon, but after a few days it's not *too* bad :thumbsup

I got new stats today with ST!

Updated list (Mac OS):

1. Close SR
2. Set your device date prior or at January 5th (you did it)
3. Re-open SR, you will be prompted with a message such as "Your system date is wrong... ect..."
4. Click "Ok"
5. Go to another tab such as "Last Month" or "Yesterday" or whatever you want.
6. Go to menu - View - uncheck PAUSE, wait for a bit, till a new popup warns you that the date on your device is wrong. Don't click "ok"!
6. Set your correct date, now click "ok"
7. SR will start to count the new stats

For those on PC, you may need to circumvent Java security by following instructions here:
https://www.kunxi.org/blog/2015/01/b...ocsp-response/

and possibly also here:
https://sourceforge.net/p/kmttg/wiki...ion/?version=7
(read section about
"java.security.cert.CertificateException: Certificates does not conform to algorithm constraints"
and the nine rows below it, about how to comment out one line of text.

THEN
follow the procedure laid out above, quoted here for convinience:
